इदं॒ हवि॒र् यातुधा॒नान् नादी॒ फे॒नम् इवा॒ वहत् ।
य॒ इदं॒ स्त्री॒ पु॒मान् अ॒कर् इह॒ स॒ स्तुवतां ज॒नः ॥१॥
idáṃ havír yātudhā́nān nādī́ phénam ivā́ vahat |
yá idáṃ strī́ púmān ákar ihá sá stuvatāṃ jánaḥ ||1||
Пусть это жертвенное возлияние принесет
Колдунов, как река - пену.
Кто это совершил, женщина (или) мужчина,
Пусть этот человек здесь объявит себя!
This sacrifice shall bring the Yātudhānas as the flood brings
foam:
Here let the doer of this deed woman or man, acknowledge it.
May this oblation carry hither the sorcerers, as a river (carries) foam! The man or the woman who has performed this (sorcery), that person shall here proclaim himself!
avś_01.008.02.
अयं॒ स्तुवान॒ आ॒गमद् इमं॒ स्म प्र॒ति हर्यत ।
बृ॒हस्पते व॒शे लब्ध्वा॒ग्नीषोमा वि॒ विध्यतम् ॥२॥
ayáṃ stuvāná ā́gamad imáṃ sma práti haryata |
bŕ̥haspate váśe labdhvā́gnīṣomā ví vidhyatam ||2||
Он пришел, объявляя себя, -
Примите же его!
О Брихаспати, подчинив (его) своей воле,
О Агни-Сома, пронзите (его) насквозь!
This one hath come confessing all: do ye receive him
eagerly.
Master him thou, Brihaspati; Agni and Soma, pierce him
through.
This vaunting (sorcerer) has come hither: receive him with alacrity! O Brihaspati, put him into subjection; O Agni and Soma, pierce him through!
avś_01.008.03.
यातुधा॒नस्य सोमप जहि॒ प्रजां॒ न॒यस्व च ।
नि॒ स्तुवान॒स्य पातय प॒रम् अ॒क्ष्य् उता॒वरम् ॥३॥
yātudhā́nasya somapa jahí prajā́ṃ náyasva ca |
ní stuvānásya pātaya páram ákṣy utā́varam ||3||
О пьющий сому (Индра), убей потомство
Колдуна и приведи (его самого)!
Выбей дальний и ближний глаз
У (него), кичащегося!
O Soma-drinker, strike and bring the Yātudhāna's progeny:
Make the confessing sinner's eyes fall from his head, both right
and left.
Slay the offspring of the sorcerer, O soma-drinking (Indra), and subject (him)! Make drop out the farther and the nearer eye of the braggart (demon)!
avś_01.008.04.
य॒त्रैषाम् अग्ने ज॒निमानि वे॒त्थ गु॒हा सता॒म् अत्त्रि॒णां जातवेदः ।
तां॒स् त्वं॒ ब्र॒ह्मणा वावृधानो॒ जह्य् ए॑षां शतत॒र्हम् अग्ने ॥४॥
yátraiṣām agne jánimāni véttha gúhā satā́m attríṇāṃ jātavedaḥ |
tā́ṃs tváṃ bráhmaṇā vāvr̥dhānó jahy èṣāṃ śatatárham agne ||4||
Где только, о Агни, ты узнаешь рождения
Этих скрывающихся пожирателей, о Джатаведас,
Ты их убей, мощно подкрепляемый заговором,
Стократно пробуравив их, о Агни!
As thou, O Agni Jātavedas, knowest the races of these secret
greedy beings,
So strengthened by the power of prayer, O Agni, crushing them
down a hundred times destroy them.
Wherever, O Agni Gātavedas, thou perceivest the brood of these hidden devourers (atrin), do thou, mightily strengthened by our charm, slay them: slay their (brood), O Agni, piercing them a hundredfold!
