जरायुजः॒ प्रथम॒ उस्रि॒यो वृ॒षा वाताभ्रजा॒ स्तन॒यन्न् एति वृष्ट्या॒ ।
स॒ नो मृडाति तन्व॑ ऋजुगो॒ रुज॒न् य॒ ए॒कम् ओ॒जस् त्रेधा॒ विचक्रमे॒ ॥१॥
jarāyujáḥ prathamá usríyo vŕ̥ṣā vātābhrajā́ stanáyann eti vr̥ṣṭyā́ |
sá no mr̥ḍāti tanvà r̥jugó ruján yá ékam ójas tredhā́ vicakramé ||1||
Рыжий бык, рожденный первым из последа,
Рожденный из ветра (и) тучи, движется, грохоча,
вместе с дождем.
Да пощадит он наши тела, устремляясь напрямик (и все) ломая,
(Тот), кто единая сила, а выступил трояко!
Born from the womb, brought forth from wind and from the
cloud, the first red bull comes onward thundering with the
rain.
Our bodies may he spare who, cleaving, goes straight on; he who,
a single force, divides himself in three.
The first red bull, born of the (cloud-)womb, born of wind and clouds, comes on thundering with rain. May he, that cleaving moves straight on, spare our bodies; he who, a single force, has passed through threefold!
avś_01.012.02.
अ॒ङ्गेअङ्गे शोचि॒षा शिश्रियाणं॒ नमस्य॒न्तस् त्वा हवि॒षा विधेम ।
अङ्का॒न्त् समङ्का॒न् हवि॒षा विधेम यो॒ अ॒ग्रभीत् प॒र्वास्या ग्र॒भीता ॥२॥
áṅgeaṅge śocíṣā śiśriyāṇáṃ namasyántas tvā havíṣā vidhema |
aṅkā́nt samaṅkā́n havíṣā vidhema yó ágrabhīt párvāsyā grábhītā ||2||
Поклоняясь тебе, обосновавшемуся со (своим) жаром в каждом члене,
Мы хотим почтить тебя жертвенным возлиянием.
Мы хотим почтить жертвенным возлиянием крючья (и) скобы
(У того), кто схватил его суставы, (кто) хвататель!
Bending to thee who clingest to each limb with heat, fain would
we worship thee with offered sacrifice,
Worship with sacrifice the bends and curves of thee who with a
vigorous grasp hast seized on this one's limbs.
Bowing down to thee that fastenest thyself with heat upon every limb, we would reverence thee with oblations; we would reverence with oblations the crooks and hooks of thee that hast, as a seizer, seized the limbs of this person.

मुञ्च॒ शीर्षक्त्या॒ उत॒ कास॒ एनं प॒रुष्परुर् आविवे॒शा यो॒ अस्य ।
यो॒ अभ्रजा॒ वातजा॒ य॒श् च शु॒ष्मो व॒नस्प॒तीन्त् सचतां प॒र्वतांश् च ॥३॥
muñcá śīrṣaktyā́ utá kāsá enaṃ páruṣparur āvivéśā yó asya |
yó abhrajā́ vātajā́ yáś ca śúṣmo vánaspátīnt sacatāṃ párvatāṃś ca ||3||
Освободи его от головной боли и от кашля,
(Вызванных тем), кто проник в каждый его сустав.
Пусть порыв, который рожден из тучи, рожден из молнии,
Настигнет лесные деревья и горы!
Do thou release this man from headache, free him from cough
which has entered into all his limbs and joints.
May he, the child of cloud, the offspring of the wind, the whiz-
zing lighting, strike the mountains and the trees.
Free him from headache and also from cough, (produced by the lightning) that has entered his every joint! May the flashing (lightning), that is born of the cloud, and born of the wind, strike the trees and the mountains!
avś_01.012.04.
शं॒ मे प॒रस्मै गा॒त्राय श॒म् अस्त्व् अ॒वराय मे ।
शं॒ मे चतु॒र्भ्यो अ॒ङ्गेभ्यः श॒म् अस्तु तन्वे॑ म॒म ॥४॥
śáṃ me párasmai gā́trāya śám astv ávarāya me |
śáṃ me catúrbhyo áṅgebhyaḥ śám astu tanvè máma ||4||
Благо моему верхнему члену (тела),
Благо пусть будет моему нижнему!
Благо моим четырем конечностям,
Благо пусть будет телу моему!
Well be it with my upper frame, well be it with my lower parts.
With my four limbs let it be well. Let all my body be in health.
Comfort be to my upper limb, comfort be to my nether; comfort be to my four members, comfort to my entire body!
