नक्तंजाता॒सि ओषधे रा॒मे कृ॒ष्णे अ॒सिक्नि च ।
इदं॒ रजनि रजय किला॒सं पलितं॒ च य॒त् ॥१॥

naktaṃjātā́si oṣadhe rā́me kŕ̥ṣṇe ásikni ca |
idáṃ rajani rajaya kilā́saṃ palitáṃ ca yát ||1||

Ночью рождена (ты), о трава, Темная, черная и мрачная. Окрась, о красящая, это Пятно проказы и что серое!

O Plant, thou sprangest up at night, dusky, dark-coloured,
black in hue!
So, Rajani, re-colour thou these ashy spots, this leprosy.

Born by night art thou, O plant, dark, black, sable. Do thou, that art rich in colour, stain this leprosy, and the gray spots!

avś_01.023.02.

किला॒सं च पलितं॒ च नि॒र् इतो॒ नाशया पृ॒षत् ।
आ॒ त्वा स्वो॒ विशतां व॒र्णः प॒रा शुक्ला॒नि पातय ॥२॥

kilā́saṃ ca palitáṃ ca nír itó nāśayā pŕ̥ṣat |
ā́ tvā svó viśatāṃ várṇaḥ párā śuklā́ni pātaya ||2||

Пятно проказы и (что) серое
Убери отсюда крапчатое!
Пусть войдет в тебя собственный цвет! Прочь заставь улететь (пятна) белые!

Expel the leprosy, remove from him the spots and ashy hue:
Let thine own colour come to thee; drive far away the specks of
white.

The leprosy and the gray spots drive away from here — may thy native colour settle upon thee — the white spots cause to fly away!

avś_01.023.03.

अ॒सितं ते प्रल॒यनम् आस्था॒नम् अ॒सितं त॒व ।
अ॒सिक्नी अस्य् ओषधे नि॒र् इतो॒ नाशया पृ॒षत् ॥३॥

ásitaṃ te praláyanam āsthā́nam ásitaṃ táva |
ásiknī asy oṣadhe nír itó nāśayā pŕ̥ṣat ||3||

Мрачное твое укрытие, Местопребывание твое мрачное, Мрачная ты (сама), трава. Убери отсюда крапчатое!

Dark is the place of thy repose, dark is the place thou dwellest
in:
Dusky and dark, O Plant, art thou: remove from him each
speck and spot.

Sable is thy hiding-place, sable thy dwelling-place, sable art thou, O plant: drive away from here the speckled spots!

avś_01.023.04.

अस्थिज॒स्य किला॒सस्य तनूज॒स्य च य॒त् त्वचि॒ ।
दू॒ष्या कृत॒स्य ब्र॒ह्मणा ल॒क्ष्म श्वेत॒म् अनीनशम् ॥४॥

asthijásya kilā́sasya tanūjásya ca yát tvací |
dū́ṣyā kr̥tásya bráhmaṇā lákṣma śvetám anīnaśam ||4||

Силой заговора я заставил исчезнуть Белый знак проказы, рожденной в костях И рожденной в теле, (и той), что на коже,
(А также) вызванной тем, кто наводит порчу.

I with my spell have chased away the pallid sign of leprosy,
Caused by infection, on the skin, sprung from the body, from the
bones.

The leprosy which has originated in the bones, and that which has originated in the body and upon the skin, the white mark begotten of corruption, I have destroyed with my charm.
