सुपर्णो॒ जातः॒ प्रथम॒स् त॒स्य त्वं॒ पित्त॒म् आसिथ ।
त॒द् आसुरी॒ युधा॒ जिता॒ रूपं॒ चक्रे व॒नस्प॒तीन् ॥१॥

suparṇó jātáḥ prathamás tásya tváṃ pittám āsitha |
tád āsurī́ yudhā́ jitā́ rūpáṃ cakre vánaspátīn ||1||

Орел родился первым.
Ты была его желчью.
Тогда Асури, побежденная в борьбе, Приняла облик лесных деревьев.

First, before all, the strong-winged Bird was born;; thou wast
the gall thereof.
Conquered in fight, the Asuri took then the shape and form of
plants.

The eagle (suparna) that was born at first, his gall thou wast, O plant. The Āsurī having conquered this (gall) gave it to the trees for their colour.

avś_01.024.02.

आसुरी॒ चक्रे प्रथमे॒दं॒ किलासभेषज॒म् इदं॒ किलासना॒शनम् ।
अ॒नीनशत् किला॒सं स॒रूपाम् अकरत् त्व॒चम् ॥२॥

āsurī́ cakre prathamédáṃ kilāsabheṣajám idáṃ kilāsanā́śanam |
ánīnaśat kilā́saṃ sárūpām akarat tvácam ||2||

Асури первая сотворила это - Это лекарство от пятна проказы, Уничтожающее пятно проказы. Оно уничтожило пятно проказы, Оно сделало кожу единовидной.

The Asuri made, first of all, this medicine for leprosy, this
banisher of leprosy.
She banished leprosy, and gave one general colour to the skin.

The Āsurī was the first to construct this remedy for leprosy, this destroyer of leprosy. She has destroyed the leprosy, has made the skin of even colour.

avś_01.024.03.

स॒रूपा ना॒म ते माता॒ स॒रूपो ना॒म ते पिता॒ ।
सरूपकृ॒त् त्व॒म् ओषधे सा॒ स॒रूपम् इदं॒ कृधि ॥३॥

sárūpā nā́ma te mātā́ sárūpo nā́ma te pitā́ |
sarūpakŕ̥t tvám oṣadhe sā́ sárūpam idáṃ kr̥dhi ||3||

Единовидная по имени твоя мать. "Единовидный" по имени твой отец. Единовидным ты делаешь (все), о трава. Единовидным сделай (и) это.

One-coloured, is thy mother's name, One-coloured is thy father
called:
One-colour-maker, Plant! art thou: give thou one colour to this
man.

'Even-colour' is the name of thy mother; 'Even-colour' is the name of thy father; thou, O plant, producest even colour: render this (spot) of even colour!

avś_01.024.04.

श्यामा॒ सरूपंक॒रणी पृथिव्या॒ अ॒ध्य् उ॒द्भृता ।
इद॒म् ऊ षु प्र॒ साधय पु॒ना रूपा॒णि कल्पय ॥४॥

śyāmā́ sarūpaṃkáraṇī pr̥thivyā́ ádhy údbhr̥tā |
idám ū ṣu prá sādhaya púnā rūpā́ṇi kalpaya ||4||

Темную, делающую (все) единовидным, Вытащили из земли.
Приведи же в порядок и это! Снова сделай цвет соответственным!

Sāmā who gives one general hue was formed and fashioned from
the earth:
Further this work efficiently. Restore the colours that were his.

The black (plant) that produces even colour has been fetched out of the earth. Do thou now, pray, perfect this, construct anew the colours!
