दीर्घायुत्वा॒य बृहते॒ र॒णाया॒रिष्यन्तो द॒क्षमाणाः स॒दैव॒ ।
मणिं॒ विष्कन्धदू॒षणं जङ्गिडं॒ बिभृमो वय॒म् ॥१॥

dīrghāyutvā́ya br̥haté ráṇāyā́riṣyanto dákṣamāṇāḥ sádaivá |
maṇíṃ viṣkandhadū́ṣaṇaṃ jaṅgiḍáṃ bibhr̥mo vayám ||1||

Для долголетия, для великой радости Мы, невредимые, всегда в силе, Несем амулет джангиду, Портящий вишкандху.

For length of life, for mighty joy, uninjured, ever showing
strength.
We wear Vishkandha's antidote, the Amulet of Jangida.

Unto long life and great delights, for ever unharmed and vigorous, do we wear the gangida, as an amulet destructive of the vishkandha.

avś_02.004.02.

जङ्गिडो॒ जम्भा॒द् विशरा॒द् वि॒ष्कन्धाद् अभिशो॒चनात् ।
मणिः॒ सह॒स्रवीर्यः प॒रि णः पातु विश्व॒तः ॥२॥

jaṅgiḍó jambhā́d viśarā́d víṣkandhād abhiśócanāt |
maṇíḥ sahásravīryaḥ pári ṇaḥ pātu viśvátaḥ ||2||

От разрывающих судорог, От опаляющей вишкандхи Пусть защитит нас со всех сторон Амулет джангида тысячесильный!

Amulet of a thousand powers, Jangida save us, all around.
From Jambha, and from Viara, Vishkandha, and tormenting
pain.

From convulsions, from tearing pain, from vishkandha, and from torturing pain, the gangida shall protect us on all sides — an amulet of a thousand virtues!

avś_02.004.03.

अयं॒ वि॒ष्कन्धं सहते ऽयं॒ बाधते॒ अत्त्रि॒णः ।
अयं॒ नो विश्व॒भेषजो जङ्गिडः॒ पात्व् अं॒हसः ॥३॥

ayáṃ víṣkandhaṃ sahate 'yáṃ bādhaté attríṇaḥ |
ayáṃ no viśvábheṣajo jaṅgiḍáḥ pātv áṃhasaḥ ||3||

Он одолевает вишкандху, Он оттесняет пожирателей.
Этот (амулет) джангида, в котором все лекарства, Пусть охраняет нас от беды!

This overcomes Vishkandha, this chases the greedy fiends away:
May this our panacea, may Jangida save us from distress.

This gangida conquers the vishkandha, and smites the Atrin (devouring demons); may this all-healing gangida protect us from adversity!

avś_02.004.04.

देवै॒र् दत्ते॒न मणि॒ना जङ्गिडे॒न मयोभु॒वा ।
वि॒ष्कन्धं स॒र्वा र॒क्षांसि व्यायामे॒ सहामहे ॥४॥

deváir datténa maṇínā jaṅgiḍéna mayobhúvā |
víṣkandhaṃ sárvā rákṣāṃsi vyāyāmé sahāmahe ||4||

С помощью подкрепляющего амулета
Джангиды, данного богами,
Мы одолеваем в борьбе Вишкандху (и) всех ракшасов.

With Jangida that brings delight, Amulet given by the Gods,
We in the conflict overcome Vishkandha and all Rākshasas.

By means of the invigorating gangida, bestowed by the gods as an amulet, do we conquer in battle the vishkandha and all the Rakshas.

avś_02.004.05.

शण॒श् च मा जङ्गिड॒श् च वि॒ष्कन्धाद् अभि॒ रक्षताम् ।
अ॒रण्याद् अन्य॒ आ॒भृतः कृष्या॒ अन्यो॒ र॒सेभ्यः ॥५॥

śaṇáś ca mā jaṅgiḍáś ca víṣkandhād abhí rakṣatām |
áraṇyād anyá ā́bhr̥taḥ kr̥ṣyā́ anyó rásebhyaḥ ||5||

Пусть конопля и джангида
Меня от вишкандхи защищают:
Одна принесена из леса,
Другая (происходит) от соков пашни.

May Cannabis and Jangida preserve me from Vishkandha,—
that
Brought to us from the forest, this sprung from the saps of
husbandry.

May the hemp and may gangida protect me against vishkandha! The one (gangida) is brought hither from the forest, the other (hemp) from the sap of the furrow.

avś_02.004.06.

कृत्यादू॒षिर् अयं॒ मणि॒र् अ॒थो अरातिदू॒षिः ।
अ॒थो स॒हस्वान् जङ्गिडः॒ प्र॒ ण आ॒युंषि तारिषत् ॥६॥

kr̥tyādū́ṣir ayáṃ maṇír átho arātidū́ṣiḥ |
átho sáhasvān jaṅgiḍáḥ prá ṇa ā́yuṃṣi tāriṣat ||6||

(Этот) амулет, портящий колдовство, А также портящий злых духов, А также могучий, джангида Пусть продлит нам сроки жизни!

This Amulet destroys the might of magic and malignity:
So may victorious Jangida prolong the years we have to live.

Destruction of witchcraft is this amulet, also destruction of hostile powers: may the powerful gangida therefore extend far our lives!
