अघ॒द्विष्टा देव॒जाता वीरु॒च् छपथयो॒पनी ।
आ॒पो म॒लम् इव प्रा॒णैक्षीत् स॒र्वान् म॒च् छप॒थां अ॒धि ॥१॥
aghádviṣṭā devájātā vīrúc chapathayópanī |
ā́po málam iva prā́ṇaikṣīt sárvān mác chapáthām̐ ádhi ||1||
Ненавистное для зла, рожденное богами Растение, стирающее проклятия, Словно воды - грязь, смыло С меня все проклятия.
Hated by sinners, sprung from Gods, this Plant that turns the
curse away
Hath washed from me all curses, as water makes clean from
spot and stain.
The god-begotten plant, hated by the wicked, which wipes away the curses (of the enemies), like water a foul spot it has washed away all curses from me.
avś_02.007.02.
य॒श् च सापत्नः॒ शप॒थो जाम्याः॒ शप॒थश् च यः॒ ।
ब्रह्मा॒ य॒न् मन्युतः॒ श॒पात् स॒र्वं त॒न् नो अधस्पद॒म् ॥२॥
yáś ca sāpatnáḥ śapátho jāmyā́ḥ śapáthaś ca yáḥ |
brahmā́ yán manyutáḥ śápāt sárvaṃ tán no adhaspadám ||2||
Проклятие, что от соперника,
И проклятие, что от сестры,
И если что проклянет в гневе брахман - Все это у нас под ногами!
All curses of a rival, each curse of a female relative, Curse
uttered by an augry priest, all these we tread beneath our feet.
The curse of the rival and the curse of the kinswoman, the curse which the Brahman shall utter in wrath, all that (do thou put) under our feet!
avś_02.007.03.
दिवो॒ मू॒लम् अ॒वततं पृथिव्या॒ अ॒ध्य् उ॒त्ततम् ।
ते॒न सह॒स्रकाण्डेन प॒रि णः पाहि विश्व॒तः ॥३॥
divó mū́lam ávatataṃ pr̥thivyā́ ádhy úttatam |
téna sahásrakāṇḍena pári ṇaḥ pāhi viśvátaḥ ||3||
С неба корень протянут вниз,
Из земли протянут вверх -
С помощью этого тысячечастного Защити нас кругом, со всех сторон!
Spread on the surface of the earth, downward from heaven thy
root depends:
With this that hath a thousand joints keep thou us safe on every
side.
From heaven her root is suspended, from the earth it rises up; with her that has a thousand shoots do thou protect us on all sides!
avś_02.007.04.
प॒रि मां॒ प॒रि मे प्रजां॒ प॒रि णः पाहि य॒द् ध॒नम् ।
अ॒रातिर् नो मा॒ तारीन् मा॒ नस् तारिशु॒र् अभि॒मातयः ॥४॥
pári mā́ṃ pári me prajā́ṃ pári ṇaḥ pāhi yád dhánam |
árātir no mā́ tārīn mā́ nas tāriśúr abhímātayaḥ ||4||
Кругом - меня, кругом - мое потомство, Защити кругом богатство, что (есть) у нас! Да не возьмет над нами верх враждебность! Да не возьмут над нами верх злые замыслы!
Guard on all sides this woman, guard my children, us, and all
our wealth!
Let not malignity o'ercome, nor adversaries conquer us.
Protect me, protect my offspring, protect our goods; let not ill-will overcome us, let not hostile schemes overcome us!
avś_02.007.05.
शप्ता॒रम् एतु शप॒थो यः॒ सुहा॒र्त् ते॒न नः सह॒ ।
च॒क्षुर्मन्त्रस्य दुर्हा॒र्दः पृष्टी॒र् अ॒पि शृणीमसि ॥५॥
śaptā́ram etu śapátho yáḥ suhā́rt téna naḥ sahá |
cákṣurmantrasya durhā́rdaḥ pr̥ṣṭī́r ápi śr̥ṇīmasi ||5||
Да уйдет проклятие к проклинателю! Кто добросердечен, с тем мы вместе. (Кто) с дурным глазом, злосердечен, (У того) мы ломаем ребра.
Upon the curser fall his curse! Dwell we with him whose heart
is true!
We split the cruel villain's ribs whose evil eye bewitches us.
The curse shall go to the curser; joint possession shall we have with the friend. Of the enemy who bewitches with (his) eye we hew off the ribs.
