avś_02.030.01.

य॒थेदं॒ भू॒म्या अ॒धि तृ॒णं वा॒तो मथाय॒ति ।
एवा॒ मथ्नामि ते म॒नो य॒था मां॒ कामि॒न्य् अ॒सो य॒था म॒न् ना॒पगा अ॒सः ॥१॥

yáthedáṃ bhū́myā ádhi tŕ̥ṇaṃ vā́to mathāyáti |
evā́ mathnāmi te máno yáthā mā́ṃ kāmíny áso yáthā mán nā́pagā ásaḥ ||1||

Как ветер срывает
Здесь траву с земли,
Так срываю я мысль твою, Чтобы стала ты меня любящей, Чтоб не стала ты избегать меня!

As the wind shake this Tuft of Grass hither and thither on the
ground.
So do I stir and shake thy mind, that thou mayst be in love
with me, my darling, never to depart.

As the wind tears this grass from the surface of the earth, thus do I tear thy soul, so that thou, woman, shalt love, shalt not be averse to me!

avś_02.030.02.

सं॒ चे॒न् न॒याथो अश्विना कामि॒ना सं॒ च व॒क्षथः ।
सं॒ वां भ॒गासो अग्मत सं॒ चित्ता॒नि स॒म् उ व्रता॒ ॥२॥

sáṃ cén náyātho aśvinā kāmínā sáṃ ca vákṣathaḥ |
sáṃ vāṃ bhágāso agmata sáṃ cittā́ni sám u vratā́ ||2||

Если вы сведете (ее), о Ашвины, С возлюбленным и соедините - Вместе сошлись ваши судьбы, Вместе помыслы, вместе обеты.

Ye, Asvins, lead together, ye unite and bring the loving pair.
Now have the fortunes of you twain, now have your vows and
spirits met.

If ye, O two Asvins, shall unite and bring together the loving pair-united are the fortunes of,both of you (lovers), united the thoughts, united the purposes!

avś_02.030.03.

य॒त् सुपर्णा॒ विवक्ष॒वो अनमीवा॒ विवक्ष॒वः ।
त॒त्र मे गछताद् ध॒वं शल्य॒ इव कु॒ल्मलं य॒था ॥३॥

yát suparṇā́ vivakṣávo anamīvā́ vivakṣávaḥ |
tátra me gachatād dhávaṃ śalyá iva kúlmalaṃ yáthā ||3||

Что хотят провещать орлы,
Хотят провещать лишенные страданий: Пусть пойдет она туда на мой зов, Как наконечник - к шейке стрелы!

When eagles, calling out aloud, are screaming in the joy of
health,
Then to my calling let her come, as to the arrow's neck the
shaft.

When birds desire to chirp, lustily desire to chirp, may my call go there, as an arrow-point upon the shaft!

avś_02.030.04.

य॒द् अ॒न्तरं त॒द् बा॒ह्यं य॒द् बा॒ह्यं त॒द् अ॒न्तरम् ।
कन्या॑नां विश्व॒रूपाणां म॒नो गृभायौषधे ॥४॥

yád ántaraṃ tád bā́hyaṃ yád bā́hyaṃ tád ántaram |
kanyā̀nāṃ viśvárūpāṇāṃ máno gr̥bhāyauṣadhe ||4||

Что внутри - то снаружи,
Что снаружи - то внутри.
О трава, захвати ты мысль
Девушек разной внешности!

Let what is inward turn outside, let what is outward be within:
Seize and possess, O Plant, the mind of maidens rich in every
charm.

What is within shall be without, what is without shall be within! Take captive, O herb, the, soul of the maidens endowed with every chai-m!

avś_02.030.05.

ए॒य॒म् अगन् प॒तिकामा ज॒निकामो ऽह॒म् आ॒गमम् ।
अ॒श्वः क॒निक्रदद् य॒था भ॒गेनाहं॒ सहा॒गमम् ॥५॥

éyám agan pátikāmā jánikāmo 'hám ā́gamam |
áśvaḥ kánikradad yáthā bhágenāháṃ sahā́gamam ||5||

Вот пришла она, жаждя мужа. Жаждя жены, пришел я. Словно конь, громко ржущий, Я пришел с любовным томлением.

Seeking a husband she hath come! and I came longing for a
wife:
Even as a loudly-neighing steed may fate and fortune have I
met.

Longing for a husband this woman hath come, I have come longing for a wife, As a loudly neighing horFe I have attained to my good fortune!
