आ॒ नो अग्ने सुमतिं॒ संभलो॒ गमेद् इमां॒ कुमारीं॒ सह॒ नो भ॒गेन ।
जुष्टा॒ वरे॒षु स॒मनेषु वल्गु॒र् ओषं॒ प॒त्या सौ॒भगम् अस्तु अस्यै॒ ॥१॥

ā́ no agne sumatíṃ saṃbhaló gamed imā́ṃ kumārī́ṃ sahá no bhágena |
juṣṭā́ varéṣu sámaneṣu valgúr oṣáṃ pátyā sáubhagam astu asyái ||1||

Да придет, о Агни, к нашей благосклонности сват - К этой девушке вместе с нашим счастьем! Желанна она женихам, изящна на праздниках. Пусть будет тотчас же удача ей с мужем!

To please us may the suitor come, O Agni, seeking this maid and
bringing us good fortune.
Approved by wooers, lovely in assemblies, may she be soon
made happy with a husband.

May, O Agni, a suitor after our own heart come to us, may he come to this maiden with our fortune! May she, agreeable to suitors, charming at festivals, promptly obtain happiness through a husband!

avś_02.036.02.

सो॒मजुष्टं ब्र॒ह्मजुष्टम् अर्यम्ना॒ सं॒भृतं भ॒गम् ।
धातु॒र् देव॒स्य सत्ये॒न कृणो॒मि पतिवे॒दनम् ॥२॥

sómajuṣṭaṃ bráhmajuṣṭam aryamnā́ sáṃbhr̥taṃ bhágam |
dhātúr devásya satyéna kr̥ṇómi pativédanam ||2||

Желанное Соме, желанное Брахману, Составленное Арьяманом счастье - С помощью истины бога Дхатара
Я совершаю (обряд) - приобретение мужа.

As bliss beloved by Soma, dear to Prayer, and stored by Arya-
man,
With the God Dhātar's truthfulness I work the bridal oracle.

Agreeable to Soma, agreeable to Brahma, arranged by Aryaman, with the unfailing certainty of god Dhātar, do I bestow upon thee good fortune, the acquisition of a husband.

avś_02.036.03.

इय॒म् अग्ने ना॒री प॒तिम् विदेष्ट सो॒मो हि॒ रा॒जा सुभ॒गां कृणो॒ति ।
सु॒वाना पुत्रा॒न् म॒हिषी भवाति गत्वा॒ प॒तिं सुभ॒गा वि॒ राजतु ॥३॥

iyám agne nā́rī pátim videṣṭa sómo hí rā́jā subhágāṃ kr̥ṇóti |
súvānā putrā́n máhiṣī bhavāti gatvā́ pátiṃ subhágā ví rājatu ||3||

Эта женщина, о Агни, пусть найдет мужа! Сам царь Сома создает (ей) счастливую долю! Рожая сыновей, пусть станет она главной женой! Пойдя к мужу, пусть она ярко сверкает, счастливая!

O Agni, may this woman find a husband. Then verily King Soma
makes her happy.
May she bear sons, chief lady of the household, blessed and
bearing rule beside her consort.

This woman shall obtain a hnsband, since king Soma makes her lovely! May she, begetting sons, become a queen; may she, going to her husband, shine in loveliness!

avś_02.036.04.

य॒थाखरो॒ मघवंश् चा॒रुर् एष॒ प्रियो॒ मृगा॒णां सुष॒दा बभू॒व ।
एवा॒ भ॒गस्य जुष्टे॒य॒म् अस्तु ना॒री सं॒प्रिया प॒त्या॒विराधयन्ती ॥४॥

yáthākharó maghavaṃś cā́rur eṣá priyó mr̥gā́ṇāṃ suṣádā babhū́va |
evā́ bhágasya juṣṭéyám astu nā́rī sáṃpriyā pátyā́virādhayantī ||4||

Как эта удобная берлога, о щедрый,
Стала приятной для хорошо устроившихся зверей,
Так желанной для Бхаги пусть станет
Эта женщина, ладящая с мужем, непротиворечащая!

As this lair, Maghavan! that is fair to look on was dear to wild
things as a pleasant dwelling,
So may this woman here be Bhaga's darling. Loved by her lord
and prizing his affection.

As this comfortable cave, O Maghavan (Indra), furnishing a safe abode, hath become pleasing to animals, thus may this woman be a favourite of fortune (Bhaga), beloved, not at odds with her husband!

avś_02.036.05.

भ॒गस्य ना॒वम् आ॒ रोह पूर्णा॒म् अ॒नुपदस्वतीम् ।
त॒योपप्र॒तारय यो॒ वरः॒ प्रतिकाम्यः॑ ॥५॥

bhágasya nā́vam ā́ roha pūrṇā́m ánupadasvatīm |
táyopaprátāraya yó varáḥ pratikāmyàḥ ||5||

Поднимись в ладью Бхаги, Полную, неисчерпаемую! Перевези сюда на ней (того) Жениха, который (тебе) по сердцу!

Mount up, embark on Bhaga's ship, the full, the inexhaustible,
Thereon bring hitherward to us the lover whom thou fain
wouldst wed.

Do thou ascend the full, inexhaustible ship of Bhaga (fortune); upon this bring, hither the suitor who shall be agreeable (to thee)!

avś_02.036.06.

आ॒ क्रन्दय धनपते वर॒म् आ॒मनसं कृणु ।
स॒र्वं प्रदक्षिणं॒ कृणु यो॒ वरः॒ प्रतिकाम्यः॑ ॥६॥

ā́ krandaya dhanapate varám ā́manasaṃ kr̥ṇu |
sárvaṃ pradakṣiṇáṃ kr̥ṇu yó varáḥ pratikāmyàḥ ||6||

Покричи (ему), о повелитель богатства! Сделай жениха расположенным! Повернись правой стороной к любому Жениху, который (тебе) по сердцу!

Call out to him, O Lord of Wealth! Make thou the lover well-
inclined.
Set each on thy right hand who is a lover worthy of her choice.

Bring hither by thy shouts, O lord of wealth, the suitor, bend his mind towards her; turn thou the right side of every agreeable suitor towards (her)!

avś_02.036.07.

इदं॒ हि॒रण्यं गु॒ल्गुल्व् अय॒म् औक्षो॒ अथो भ॒गः ।
एते॒ प॒तिभ्यस् त्वा॒म् अदुः प्रतिकामा॒य वे॒त्तवे ॥७॥

idáṃ híraṇyaṃ gúlgulv ayám aukṣó atho bhágaḥ |
eté pátibhyas tvā́m aduḥ pratikāmā́ya véttave ||7||

Вот золото, вот смола, Вот аукша, а также счастье.
Они отдали тебя мужьям, Чтобы ты нашла себе по сердцу!

Here is the Bdellium and the gold, the Auksha and the bliss are
here:
These bring thee to the husbands, so to find the man whom thou.
wouldst have.

This gold and bdellium, this balsam, and Bhaga (fortune), too; these have prepared thee for husbands, that thou mayest obtain the one that is agreeable.

avś_02.036.08.

आ॒ ते नयतु सविता॒ नयतु प॒तिर् यः॒ प्रतिकाम्यः॑ ॥८॥

ā́ te nayatu savitā́ nayatu pátir yáḥ pratikāmyàḥ ||8||

Тебе пусть приведет (его) Савитар, Приведет мужа, который по сердцу! Ты ей дай (его), о трава!

May Savitar lead and bring to thee the husband whom thy heart
desires.
O Plant, be this thy gift to her!

Hither to thee Savitar shall lead the husband that is agreeable! Do thou, O herb, bestow (him) upon her!
