आ॒ त्वा गन् राष्त्रं॒ सह॒ व॒र्चसो॒द् इहि प्रा॒ङ् विशां॒ प॒तिर् एकरा॒ट् त्वं॒ वि॒ राज ।
स॒र्वास् त्वा राजन् प्रदि॒शो ह्वयन्तूपस॒द्यो नमस्यो॑ भवेह॒ ॥१॥
ā́ tvā gan rāṣtráṃ sahá várcasód ihi prā́ṅ viśā́ṃ pátir ekarā́ṭ tváṃ ví rāja |
sárvās tvā rājan pradíśo hvayantūpasádyo namasyò bhavehá ||1||
К тебе пришло царство. Взойди с блеском!
Как господин племен, единый царь, воссияй на востоке! Да призовут тебя, о царь, все стороны света! Да будешь ты здесь достойным услужения,
достойным поклонения!
To thee hath come the kingship with its splendour: On! shine
as lord, sole ruler of the people.
King! let all regions of the heavens invite thee. Here let men
wait on thee and bow before thee.
(Thy) kingdom hath come to thee: arise, endowed with lustre! Go forth as the lord of the people, rule (shine) thou, a universal ruler! All the regions of the compass shall call thee, O king; attended and revered be thou here!
avś_03.004.02.
त्वां॒ वि॒शो वृणतां राज्या॑य त्वा॒म् इमाः॒ प्रदि॒शः प॒ञ्च देवीः॒ ।
व॒र्ष्मन् राष्ट्र॒स्य ककु॒दि श्रयस्व त॒तो न उग्रो॒ वि॒ भजा व॒सूनि ॥२॥
tvā́ṃ víśo vr̥ṇatāṃ rājyā̀ya tvā́m imā́ḥ pradíśaḥ páñca devī́ḥ |
várṣman rāṣṭrásya kakúdi śrayasva táto na ugró ví bhajā vásūni ||2||
Да изберут тебя племена на царствование, Тебя эти пять божественных сторон света! Опирайся о высоту, о вершину царства! После этого, грозный, раздавай нам блага!
The tribesmen shall elect thee for the Kingship, these five celestial
regions shall elect thee.
Rest on the height and top of kingly power: thence as a mighty
man award us treasures.
Thee the clans, thee these regions, goddesses five, shall choose for empire! Root thyself upon the height, the pinnacle of royalty: then do thou, mighty, distribute goods among us!
avś_03.004.03.
अ॒छ त्वा यन्तु हवि॒नः सजाता॒ अग्नि॒र् दूतो॒ अजिरः॒ सं॒ चरातै ।
जायाः॒ पुत्राः॒ सुम॒नसो भवन्तु बहुं॒ बलिं॒ प्र॒ति पश्यासा उग्रः॒ ॥३॥
ácha tvā yantu havínaḥ sajātā́ agnír dūtó ajiráḥ sáṃ carātai |
jāyā́ḥ putrā́ḥ sumánaso bhavantu bahúṃ balíṃ práti paśyāsā ugráḥ ||3||
Да придут к тебе сородичи, призывая!
Да сопутствует тебе Агни - быстрый вестник!
Да будут доброжелательны жены (и) сыновья! Да увидишь ты, грозный, большую дань!
Kinsmen, inviting thee, shall go to meet thee, with thee go
Agni as an active herald.
Let women and their sons be friendly-minded. Thou mighty one,
shalt see abundant tribute.
Thy kinsmen with calls shall come to thee; agile Agni shall go with them as messenger! Thy wives, thy sons shall be devoted to thee; being a mighty (ruler) thou shalt behold rich tribute!
avś_03.004.04.
अश्वि॒ना त्वा॒ग्रे मित्रा॒व॒रुणोभा॒ वि॒श्वे॒ देवा॒ मरु॒तस् त्वा॒ ह्वयन्तु ।
अ॒धा म॒नो वसुदे॒याय कृणुष्व त॒तो न उग्रो॒ वि॒ भजा व॒सूनि ॥४॥
aśvínā tvā́gre mitrā́váruṇobhā́ víśvé devā́ marútas tvā́ hvayantu |
ádhā máno vasudéyāya kr̥ṇuṣva táto na ugró ví bhajā vásūni ||4||
Да призовут тебя сначала Ашвины,
Митра-Варуна, оба, Bee-Боги, тебя - Маруты!
Затем направь мысль на дарение благ!
После этого, грозный, раздавай нам блага!
First shall the Asvins, Varuna and Mitra, the Universal Gods,
and Maruts call thee.
Then turn thy mind to giving gifts of treasures, thence, mighty
one, distribute wealth among us.
The Asvins first, Mitra and Varuna both, all the gods, and the Maruts, shall call thee! Then fix thy mind upon the bestowal of wealth, then do thou, mighty, distribute wealth among us!
avś_03.004.05.
आ॒ प्र॒ द्रव परम॒स्याः पराव॒तः शिवे॒ ते द्या॒वापृथिवी॒ उभे॒ स्ताम् ।
त॒द् अयं॒ रा॒जा व॒रुणस् त॒थाह स॒ त्वाय॒म् अह्वत् स॒ उपेद॒म् ए॒हि ॥५॥
ā́ prá drava paramásyāḥ parāvátaḥ śivé te dyā́vāpr̥thivī́ ubhé stām |
tád ayáṃ rā́jā váruṇas táthāha sá tvāyám ahvat sá upedám éhi ||5||
Прибегай сюда из самой дальней дали!
Да будут милостивы к тебе Небо-и-Земля, оба!
Так сказал тут этот царь Варуна.
Он ведь тут тебя позвал - так иди же сюда!
Speed to us hither from the farthest distance. Propitious unto
thee be Earth and Heaven.
Even so hath Varuna this King asserted, he who himself hath
called thee: come thou hither.
Hither hasten forth from the farthest distance heaven and earth, both, shall be propitious to thee! Thus did this king Varuna (as if, 'the chooser') decree that; he himself did call thee: 'come thou hither'!
avś_03.004.06.
इ॒न्द्रेन्द्र मनुष्याः॑ प॒रेहि सं॒ ह्य् अ॒ज्ञास्था व॒रुणैः संविदानः॒ ।
स॒ त्वाय॒म् अह्वत् स्वे॒ सध॒स्थे स॒ देवा॒न् यक्षत् स॒ उ कल्पयद् वि॒शः ॥६॥
índrendra manuṣyā̀ḥ párehi sáṃ hy ájñāsthā váruṇaiḥ saṃvidānáḥ |
sá tvāyám ahvat své sadhásthe sá devā́n yakṣat sá u kalpayad víśaḥ ||6||
О Индра, Индра! Отправляйся к людским (племенам)!
Ведь ты же решился, согласный с Варуной.
Он позвал тебя в свои пределы, (считая):
"Он будет приносить жертвы богам, и он приведет
в порядок племена".
Pass to the tribes of men. O Indra, Indra. Thou the Varunas
hast been found accordant.
To his own place this one hath called thee, saying, Let him adore
the Gods and guide the clansmen.
O Indra, Indra, come thou to the tribes of men, for thou hast agreed, concordant with the Varunas (as if,'the electors'), He did call thee to thy own domain (thinking): 'let him revere the gods, and manage, too, the people'!
avś_03.004.07.
पथ्या॑ रेव॒तीर् बहुधा॒ वि॒रूपाः स॒र्वाः संग॒त्य व॒रीयस् ते अक्रन् ।
ता॒स् त्वा स॒र्वाः संविदाना॒ ह्वयन्तु दशमी॒म् उग्रः॒ सुम॒ना वशेह॒ ॥७॥
pathyā̀ revátīr bahudhā́ vírūpāḥ sárvāḥ saṃgátya várīyas te akran |
tā́s tvā sárvāḥ saṃvidānā́ hvayantu daśamī́m ugráḥ sumánā vaśehá ||7||
Счастливые пути, очень разнообразные,
Сойдясь все вместе, создали тебе свободное пространство.
Да призовут они тебя, все согласные!
В десятое (десятилетие жизни) войди здесь, грозный,
доброжелательный!
The Bounteous Paths in sundry forms and places,
all in accord, have given thee room and comfort.
Let all of these in concert call thee hither. Live thy tenth decade
here, a strong kind ruler.
The rich divinities of the roads, of manifold diverse forms, all coming together have given thee a broad domain. They shall all concordantly call thee; rule here, a mighty, benevolent (king), to up the tenth decade (of thy life)!
