मुञ्चा॒मि त्वा हवि॒षा जी॒वनाय क॒म् अज्ञातयक्ष्मा॒द् उत॒ राजयक्ष्मा॒त् ।
ग्रा॒हिर् जग्रा॒ह य॒द्य् एत॒द् एनं त॒स्या इन्द्राग्नी प्र॒ मुमुक्तम् एनम् ॥१॥

muñcā́mi tvā havíṣā jī́vanāya kám ajñātayakṣmā́d utá rājayakṣmā́t |
grā́hir jagrā́ha yády etád enaṃ tásyā indrāgnī prá mumuktam enam ||1||

Я освобождаю тебя с помощью жертвенного заклинания
для жизни От неизвестной якшмы и от царской якшмы. Если это впилась в него Грахи, Освободите его от нее, о Индра-Агни!

For life I set thee free by this oblation both from unmarked'.
decline and from consumption:
Or if the grasping demon have possessed him, free him from her,.
O Indra, thou and Agni!

I release thee unto life by means of (my) oblation, from unknown decline, and from consumption. If Grāhi (seizure) has caught hold (gagrāha) of this person here, may Indra and Agni free him from that!

avś_03.011.02.

य॒दि क्षिता॒युर् य॒दि वा प॒रेतो य॒दि मृत्यो॒र् अन्तिकं॒ एव॒ ।
त॒म् आ॒ हरामि नि॒रृतेर् उप॒स्थाद् अ॒स्पार्शम् एनं शत॒शारदाय ॥२॥

yádi kṣitā́yur yádi vā páreto yádi mr̥tyór antikáṃ evá |
tám ā́ harāmi nírr̥ter upásthād áspārśam enaṃ śatáśāradāya ||2||

Если у него иссяк срок жизни или если он успел (туда),
Если даже он предстал перед лицом смерти,
Я вырываю его из лона небытия,
Я отвоевал его для жизни в сто осеней!

Be his days ended, be he now departed, be he brought very
near to death already,
Out of Destruction's lap again I bring him, save him for life to
last a hundred autumns.

If his life has faded, even if he has passed away, if he has been brought to the very vicinity of death, I snatch him from the lap of Nirriti (the goddess of destruction): I have freed him unto a life of a hundred autumns.

avś_03.011.03.

सहस्राक्षे॒ण शत॒वीर्येण शता॒युषा हवि॒षा॒हार्षम् एनम् ।
इ॒न्द्रो य॒थैनं शर॒दो न॒यात्य् अ॒ति वि॒श्वस्य दुरित॒स्य पार॒म् ॥३॥

sahasrākṣéṇa śatávīryeṇa śatā́yuṣā havíṣā́hārṣam enam |
índro yáthainaṃ śarádo náyāty áti víśvasya duritásya pārám ||3||

Я вырвал его с помощью жертвенного возлияния, тысячеглазого,
Стомужественного, дающего (жизнь) в сто осеней,
Чтобы (многие) осени вел его Индра На ту сторону любой опасности!

With sacrifice thousand-eyed and hundred-powered, bringing a
hundred lives, have I restored him,
That Indra through the autumns may conduct him safe to the
farther shore of all misfortune.

I have snatched him (from death) by means of an oblation which has a thousand eyes, hundredfold strength, and -ensures a hundredfold life, in order that Indra may conduct him through the years across to the other side of every misfortune.

avś_03.011.04.

शतं॒ जीव शर॒दो व॒र्धमानः शतं॒ हेमन्ता॒न् छत॒म् उ वसन्ता॒न् ।
शतं॒ ते इ॒न्द्रो अग्निः॒ सविता॒ बृ॒हस्प॒तिः शता॒युषा हवि॒षा॒हार्षम् एनम् ॥४॥

śatáṃ jīva śarádo várdhamānaḥ śatáṃ hemantā́n chatám u vasantā́n |
śatáṃ te índro agníḥ savitā́ bŕ̥haspátiḥ śatā́yuṣā havíṣā́hārṣam enam ||4||

Живи ты, усиливаясь, сто осеней,
Сто зим и сто весен!
Сто (лет пусть дадут) тебе Индра, Агни, Савитар, Брихаспати! Я вырвал его с помощью жертвенного возлияния, дающего
(жизнь) в сто осеней!

Live, waxing in thy strength a hundred autumns, live through
a hundred springs, a hundred winters!
Indra, Agni, Savitar, Brihaspati give thee a hundred! With
hundred-lived oblation have I saved him,

Live thou, thriving a hundred autumns, a hundred winters, and a hundred springs! May Indra, Agni, Savitar, Brihaspati (grant) thee a hundred years! I have snatched him (from death) with an oblation that secures a life,of a hundred years.

avś_03.011.05.

प्र॒ विशतं प्राणापानाव् अनड्वा॒हाव् इव व्रज॒म् ।
व्य् अ॑न्ये॒ यन्तु मृत्य॒वो या॒न् आहु॒र् इ॒तरान् छत॒म् ॥५॥

prá viśataṃ prāṇāpānāv anaḍvā́hāv iva vrajám |
vy ànyé yantu mr̥tyávo yā́n āhúr ítarān chatám ||5||

Войдите, вдох-и-выдох,
Как два упряжных быка - в загон! Да сгинут прочие смерти, Которые называют: сто других!

Breath, Respiration, come to him, as two car-oxen to their
stall!
Let all the other deaths, whereof men count a hundred, pass
away.

Enter ye, O in-breathirig and out-breathing, as two bulls a stable! Away shall go the other deaths, of which, it is said, there are a hundred more!

avś_03.011.06.

इहै॒व॒ स्तं प्राणापानौ मा॒प गातम् इतो॒ युव॒म् ।
श॒रीरम् अस्या॒ङ्गानि जर॒से वहतं पु॒नः ॥६॥

iháivá staṃ prāṇāpānau mā́pa gātam itó yuvám |
śárīram asyā́ṅgāni jaráse vahataṃ púnaḥ ||6||

Только здесь оставайтесь, вдох-и-выдох!
Не уходите вы прочь отсюда!
Снова везите до старости Его тело и члены!

Breath, Respiration, stay ye here. Go ye not hence away from
him,
Bring, so that he may reach old age, body and members back
again.

Remain ye here, O in-breathing and out-breathing, do not go away from here; do ye car anew to old age his body and his limbs!

avś_03.011.07.

जरा॒यै त्वा प॒रि ददामि जरा॒यै नि॒ धुवामि त्वा ।
जरा॒ त्वा भद्रा॒ नेष्ट व्य् अ॑न्ये॒ यन्तु मृत्य॒वो या॒न् आहु॒र् इ॒तरान् छत॒म् ॥७॥

jarā́yai tvā pári dadāmi jarā́yai ní dhuvāmi tvā |
jarā́ tvā bhadrā́ neṣṭa vy ànyé yantu mr̥tyávo yā́n āhúr ítarān chatám ||7||

Старости я вручаю тебя,
Старости вытряхиваю тебя.
Да поведет тебя (за собой) старость прекрасная! Да сгинут прочие смерти, Которые называют: сто других!

I give thee over to old age, make thee the subject of old age.
Let kindly old age lead thee on. Let all the other deaths, whereof
men count a hundred, pass away!

To old age I make thee over, into old age I urge thee; may a happy old age guide thee! Away shall go the other deaths, of which, it is said, there are a hundred more!

avś_03.011.08.

अभि॒ त्वा जरिमा॒हित गा॒म् उक्ष॒णम् इव र॒ज्ज्वा ।
य॒स् त्वा मृत्यु॒र् अभ्य॒धत्त जा॒यमानं सुपाश॒या ।
तं॒ ते सत्य॒स्य ह॒स्ताभ्याम् उ॒द् अमुञ्चद् बृ॒हस्प॒तिः ॥८॥

abhí tvā jarimā́hita gā́m ukṣáṇam iva rájjvā |
yás tvā mr̥tyúr abhyádhatta jā́yamānaṃ supāśáyā |
táṃ te satyásya hástābhyām úd amuñcad bŕ̥haspátiḥ ||8||

Привязала тебя старость (к себе),
Как (привязывают) корову, быка на веревку. Смерть, что привязала тебя Прочной петлей, когда ты рождался, - Ее для тебя отпустил Брихаспати Руками истины.

Old age hath girt thee with its bonds even as they bind a bull
with rope.
The death held thee at thy birth bound with a firmly-knotted
noose,
Therefrom, with both the hands of Truth, Brihaspati hath loose-
ned thee.

Upon thee (life unto) old age has been deposited, as a rope is tied upon a bull. That death which has fettered thee at thy birth with a firm rope, Brihaspati with the hands of the truth did strip off from thee.
