इहै॒व॒ ध्रुवां॒ नि॒ मिनोमि शा॒लां क्षे॒मे तिष्ठाति घृत॒म् उक्ष॒माणा ।
तां॒ त्वा शाले स॒र्ववीराः सुवी॒रा अ॒रिष्टवीरा उ॒प सं॒ चरेम ॥१॥
iháivá dhruvā́ṃ ní minomi śā́lāṃ kṣéme tiṣṭhāti ghr̥tám ukṣámāṇā |
tā́ṃ tvā śāle sárvavīrāḥ suvī́rā áriṣṭavīrā úpa sáṃ carema ||1||
Вот здесь я закладываю прочную хижину.
Да стоит она в безопасности, кропя жиром!
Да войдем мы в тебя такую, о хижина,
Со всеми мужами, с прекрасными мужами,
с невредимыми мужами!
Here, even here I fix my firm-set dwelling; flowing with fatness
may it stand in safety.
May we approach thee, House! with all our people, uncharmed
and goodly men, and dwell within thee,
Right here do I erect a firm house: may it stand upon a (good) foundation, dripping with ghee! Thee may we inhabit, O house, with heroes all, with strong heroes, with uninjured heroes!
avś_03.012.02.
इहै॒व॒ ध्रुवा॒ प्र॒ति तिष्ठ शाले॒ ऽश्वावती गो॒मती सूनृ॒तावती ।
ऊ॒र्जस्वती घृत॒वती प॒यस्वत्य् उ॒च् छ्रयस्व महते॒ सौ॒भगाय ॥२॥
iháivá dhruvā́ práti tiṣṭha śālé 'śvāvatī gómatī sūnŕ̥tāvatī |
ū́rjasvatī ghr̥távatī páyasvaty úc chrayasva mahaté sáubhagāya ||2||
Вот здесь стой прочно, о хижина,
Богатая конями, богатая коровами, богатая радостями, Богатая питательной силой, богатая жиром, богатая молоком! Возвышайся на великое счастье!
Even here, O House, stand thou on firm foundation, wealthy in
horses, rich in kine and gladness.
Wealthy in nourishment. in milk and fatness, rise up for great
felicity and fortune.
Right here, do thou, O house, stand firmly, full of horses, full of cattle, full of abundance! Full of sap, ful.] of ghee, full of milk, elevate thyself unto great happiness!
avś_03.012.03.
धरुण्य् अ॑सि शाले बृह॒छन्दाः पू॒तिधान्या ।
आ॒ त्वा वत्सो॒ गमेद् आ॒ कुमार॒ आ॒ धेन॒वः साय॒म् आस्प॒न्दमानाः ॥३॥
dharuṇy àsi śāle br̥háchandāḥ pū́tidhānyā |
ā́ tvā vatsó gamed ā́ kumārá ā́ dhenávaḥ sāyám āspándamānāḥ ||3||
Ты амбар, о хижина,
С высокой кровлей, с чистым зерном.
Да придут к тебе теленок, к (тебе) мальчик,
К (тебе) коровы, стекающиеся вечером!
A spacious store, O House, art thou, full of clean corn and
lofty-roofed.
Let the young calf and little boy approach thee, and milch-kine
streaming homeward in the evening.
A supporter art thou, O house, with broad roof, containing purified grain! To thee may the calf come, to thee the child, to thee the milch-cows, when they return in the evening!
avś_03.012.04.
इमां॒ शा॒लां सविता॒ वायु॒र् इ॒न्द्रो बृ॒हस्प॒तिर् नि॒ मिनोतु प्रजान॒न् ।
उक्ष॒न्तूद्ना॒ मरु॒तो घृते॒न भ॒गो नो रा॒जा नि॒ कृषिं॒ तनोतु ॥४॥
imā́ṃ śā́lāṃ savitā́ vāyúr índro bŕ̥haspátir ní minotu prajānán |
ukṣántūdnā́ marúto ghr̥téna bhágo no rā́jā ní kr̥ṣíṃ tanotu ||4||
Да построит эту хижину Савитар,
Ваю, Индра, Брихаспати, знающий наперед! Да окропят (ее) Маруты водой и жиром! Да углубит царь Бхага нашу пахоту!
This House may Savitar and Vāyu stablish, Brihaspati who
knows the way, and Indra.
May the moist Maruts sprinkle it with fatness, and may King
Bhaga make our corn-land fruitful.
May Savitar, Vāyu, Indra, Brihaspati cunningly erect this house! Alay the Alaruts sprinkle it with moisture and with ghee; may king Bhaga let our ploughing take root!
avś_03.012.05.
मा॒नस्य पत्नि शरणा॒ स्योना॒ देवी॒ देवे॒भिर् नि॒मितास्य् अ॒ग्रे ।
तृ॒णं व॒साना सुम॒ना असस् त्व॒म् अ॒थास्म॒भ्यं सह॒वीरं रयिं॒ दाः ॥५॥
mā́nasya patni śaraṇā́ syonā́ devī́ devébhir nímitāsy ágre |
tŕ̥ṇaṃ vásānā sumánā asas tvám áthāsmábhyaṃ sahávīraṃ rayíṃ dāḥ ||5||
О хозяйка строения! Вначале
Ты была построена богами как охраняющая кроткая богиня. Да будешь ты доброжелательна, одеваясь травой! А также дай ты нам богатство вместе с мужами!
Queen of the home! thou, sheltering, kindly Goddess, wast sta-
blished by the Gods in the beginning.
Clad in thy robe of grass be friendly-minded, and give us wealth
with goodly men about us.
O mistress of dwelling, as a sheltering and kindly goddess thou wast erected by the gods in the bealrinina; clothed in grass, be thou kindly disposed; give us, moreover, wealth along with heroes!
avś_03.012.06.
ऋते॒न स्थू॒णाम् अ॒धि रोह वंशोग्रो॒ विरा॒जन्न् अ॒प वृङ्क्ष्व श॒त्रून् ।
मा॒ ते रिषन्न् उपसत्ता॒रो गृहा॒णां शाले शतं॒ जीवेम शर॒दः स॒र्ववीराः ॥६॥
r̥téna sthū́ṇām ádhi roha vaṃśogró virā́jann ápa vr̥ṅkṣva śátrūn |
mā́ te riṣann upasattā́ro gr̥hā́ṇāṃ śāle śatáṃ jīvema śarádaḥ sárvavīrāḥ ||6||
Правильно влезай на столб, стропило!
Как грозный правитель отшвырни прочь врагов!
Да не потерпят вреда те, кто приближается с почтением
к твоим помещениям, о хижина! Да проживем мы сто осеней со всеми мужами!
Thou Pole, in ordered fashion mount the pillar. Strong, shining
forth afar, keep off our foemen.
House! let not those who dwell within thee suffer. Live we with
all our men, a hundred autumns.
Do thou, O cross-beam, according to regulation ascend the post, do thou, mightily ruling, hold off the enemies! May they that approach thee reverently, O house, not suffer injury, may we with all our heroes live a hundred autumns!
avś_03.012.07.
ए॒मां॒ कुमार॒स् त॒रुण आ॒ वत्सो॒ ज॒गता सह॒ ।
ए॒मा॒म् परिस्रु॒तः कुम्भ॒ आ॒ दध्नः॒ कल॒शैर् अगुः ॥७॥
émā́ṃ kumārás táruṇa ā́ vatsó jágatā sahá |
émā́m parisrútaḥ kumbhá ā́ dadhnáḥ kaláśair aguḥ ||7||
В нее вошел маленький мальчик,
В нее - теленок с движущимся (домашним скотом), В нее - переполненный кувшин С горшками кислого молока.
To this the tender boy hath come, to this the calf with all the
beasts,
To this crock of foaming drink, hither with jars of curdled
milk.
Hither to this (house) hath come the tender child, hither the calf along with (the other) domestic animals; hither the vessel (full) of liquor, together with bowls of sour milk!
avś_03.012.08.
पूर्णं॒ नारि प्र॒ भर कुम्भ॒म् एतं॒ घृत॒स्य धा॒राम् अमृ॒तेन सं॒भृताम् ।
इमां॒ पातृ॒̄न् अमृ॒तेन स॒म् अङ्ग्धीष्टापूर्त॒म् अभि॒ रक्षात्य् एनाम् ॥८॥
pūrṇáṃ nāri prá bhara kumbhám etáṃ ghr̥tásya dhā́rām amŕ̥tena sáṃbhr̥tām |
imā́ṃ pātr̥̄́n amŕ̥tena sám aṅgdhīṣṭāpūrtám abhí rakṣāty enām ||8||
Пронеси, о женщина, этот полный кувшин -
Поток жира, смешанный с амритой!
Смажь амритой этих защитников!
Да охранит эту (хижину) то, что пожертвовано и даровано!
Bring hitherward, O dame, the well-filled pitcher, the stream
of molten butter blent with nectar.
Bedew these drinkers with a draught of Amrit.
May all our hopes' fulfilment guard this dwelling.
Carry forth, O woman, this full jar, a stream of ghee mixed with ambrosia! Do thou these drinkers supply with ambrosia; the sacrifice and the gifts (to the Brahmans) shall it (the house) protect!
avś_03.012.09.
इमा॒ आ॒पः प्र॒ भराम्य् अयक्ष्मा॒ यक्ष्मना॒शनीः ।
गृहा॒न् उ॒प प्र॒ सीदाम्य् अमृ॒तेन सहा॒ग्नि॒ना ॥९॥
imā́ ā́paḥ prá bharāmy ayakṣmā́ yakṣmanā́śanīḥ |
gr̥hā́n úpa prá sīdāmy amŕ̥tena sahā́gnínā ||9||
Я проношу эту воду,
Лишенную якшмы, уничтожающую якшму! Я вселяюсь в помещения Вместе с бессмертным огнем.
Water that kills Consumption, free from all Consumption, here
I bring.
With Agni, the immortal one, I enter and possess the house.
These waters, free from disease, destructive of disease, do I carry forth. The chambers do I enter in upon together with the immortal Agni (fire).
