avś_03.023.01.

ये॒न वेह॒द् बभू॒विथ नाश॒यामसि त॒त् त्व॒त् ।
इदं॒ त॒द् अन्य॒त्र त्व॒द् अ॒प दूरे॒ नि॒ दध्मसि ॥१॥

yéna vehád babhū́vitha nāśáyāmasi tát tvát |
idáṃ tád anyátra tvád ápa dūré ní dadhmasi ||1||

Из-за чего стала ты яловой коровой, То заставляем мы исчезнуть у тебя.
В другое место, далеко от тебя, Сейчас мы убираем это.

From thee we banish and expel the cause of thy sterility.
This in another place we lay apart from thee and far removed.

That which has caused thee to miscarry do we drive away from thee, that very thing do we deposit outside of thee, away in a far place.

avś_03.023.02.

आ॒ ते यो॒निं ग॒र्भ एतु पु॒मान् बा॒ण इवेषुधि॒म् ।
आ॒ वीरो॒ ऽत्र जायतां पुत्र॒स् ते द॒शमास्यः ॥२॥

ā́ te yóniṃ gárbha etu púmān bā́ṇa iveṣudhím |
ā́ vīró 'tra jāyatāṃ putrás te dáśamāsyaḥ ||2||

Да войдет зародыш-мальчик
В твое лоно, как стрела в колчан!
Да родится тут герой,
Сын у тебя, десятимесячный!

As arrow to the quiver, so let a male embryo enter thee.
Then from thy side be born a babe, a ten-month child, thy hero
son.

Into thy womb shall enter a male germ, as an arrow into a quiver! May a man be born there, a son ten months old!

avś_03.023.03.

पु॒मांसं पुत्रं॒ जनय तं॒ पु॒मान् अ॒नु जायताम् ।
भ॒वासि पुत्रा॒णां माता॒ जाता॒नां जन॒याश् च या॒न् ॥३॥

púmāṃsaṃ putráṃ janaya táṃ púmān ánu jāyatām |
bhávāsi putrā́ṇāṃ mātā́ jātā́nāṃ janáyāś ca yā́n ||3||

Мальчика, сына роди!
Вслед ему пусть родится (еще) мальчик! Да будешь ты матерью сыновей Рожденных и тех, кого ты (еще) родишь!

Bring forth a male, bring forth a son. Another male shall follow
him.
The mother shalt thou be of sons born and hereafter to be
born.

A male son do thou produce, and after him a male shall be born! Thou shalt be the mother of sons, of those who are born, and those whom thou shalt bear!

avś_03.023.04.

या॒नि बद्रा॒णि बी॒जान्य् ऋषभा॒ जन॒यन्ति च ।
तै॒स् त्वं॒ पुत्रं॒ विन्दस्व सा॒ प्रसू॒र् धे॒नुका भव ॥४॥

yā́ni badrā́ṇi bī́jāny r̥ṣabhā́ janáyanti ca |
táis tváṃ putráṃ vindasva sā́ prasū́r dhénukā bhava ||4||

И то прекрасное семя,
Которое порождают быки, -
С его помощью найди ты себе сына! Стань плодовитою дойной коровой!

With that auspicious general flow wherewith steers propagate
their kind,
Do thou obtain thyself a son: be thou a fruitfu! mother-cow.

By the effective seed which bulls put forth do thou obtain a son; be a fruitful milch-cow!

avś_03.023.05.

कृणो॒मि ते प्राजापत्य॒म् आ॒ यो॒निं ग॒र्भ एतु ते ।
विन्द॒स्व त्वं॒ पुत्रं॒ नारि य॒स् तु॒भ्यं श॒म् अ॒सच् छ॒म् उ त॒स्मै त्व॒म् भ॒व ॥५॥

kr̥ṇómi te prājāpatyám ā́ yóniṃ gárbha etu te |
vindásva tváṃ putráṃ nāri yás túbhyaṃ śám ásac chám u tásmai tvám bháva ||5||

Я совершаю для тебя (обряд) Праджапати -
Да войдет в твое лоно зародыш!
Найди ты себе сына, о женщина, Который стал бы благом для тебя, Для которого будь благом ты!

I give thee power to bear a child: within, thee pass the germ of
life!
Obtain a son, O woman, who shall be a blessing unto thee. Be
thou a blessing unto him.

Pragāpati's (the lord of creatures) work do I perform for thee: may the germ enter into thy womb! Obtain thou, woman, a son who shall bring prosperity to thee, and bring thou pi-osperity to him!

avś_03.023.06.

या॒साम् द्यौः॒ पिता॒ पृथिवी॒ माता॒ समुद्रो॒ मू॒लं वीरु॒धां बभू॒व ।
ता॒स् त्वा पुत्रवि॒द्याय दै॒वीः प्रा॒वन्त्व् ओ॒षधयः ॥६॥

yā́sām dyáuḥ pitā́ pr̥thivī́ mātā́ samudró mū́laṃ vīrúdhāṃ babhū́va |
tā́s tvā putravídyāya dáivīḥ prā́vantv óṣadhayaḥ ||6||

Растения, у кого небо - отец,
Земля - мать, (а) океан был корень,
Божественные травы да помогут
Тебе, чтобы добиться сына!

May those celestial herbs whose sire was Heaven, the Earth their
mother, and their root the ocean.
May those celestial healing Plants assist thee to obtain a son.

The plants whose father was the sky, whose mother the earth, Whose root the (heavenly) ocean — may those divine herbs aid thee in obtaining a son!
