उत्तुद॒स् त्वो॒त् तुदतु मा॒ धृथाः श॒यने स्वे॒ ।
इ॒षुः का॒मस्य या॒ भीमा॒ त॒या विध्यामि त्वा हृदि॒ ॥१॥

uttudás tvót tudatu mā́ dhr̥thāḥ śáyane své |
íṣuḥ kā́masya yā́ bhīmā́ táyā vidhyāmi tvā hr̥dí ||1||

Пусть кольнет тебя колючка! Не держись ты за свой покой! Стрела Камы, что страшна, - Ею я пронзаю тебя в сердце.

Let the Impeller goad thee on. Rest not in peace upon thy bed.
Terrible is the shaft of Love: therewith I pierce thee to the
heart.

May (love), the disquieter, disquiet thee; do not hold out upon thy bed! With the terrible arrow of Kāma (love) do I pierce thee in the heart.

avś_03.025.02.

आधी॒पर्णां का॒मशल्याम् इ॒षुं संकल्प॒कुल्मलाम् ।
तां॒ सु॒संनतां कृत्वा॒ का॒मो विध्यतु त्वा हृदि॒ ॥२॥

ādhī́parṇāṃ kā́maśalyām íṣuṃ saṃkalpákulmalām |
tā́ṃ súsaṃnatāṃ kr̥tvā́ kā́mo vidhyatu tvā hr̥dí ||2||

Оперенную тоской, с острием из страсти Стрелу, со стержнем из решимости, - Нацелив ее хорошенько,
Пусть Кама пронзит тебя в сердце!

That arrow winged with longing thought, its stem Desire, its
neck, Resolve,
Let Kāma, having truly aimed, shoot forth and pierce thee in
the heart.

The arrow, winged with longing, barbed with love, whose shaft is undeviating desire, with that, well-aimed, Kāma shall pierce thee in the heart!

avś_03.025.03.

या॒ प्लीहा॒नं शोष॒यति का॒मस्ये॒षुः सु॒संनता ।
प्राची॒नपक्षा व्यो॑षा त॒या विध्यामि त्वा हृदि॒ ॥३॥

yā́ plīhā́naṃ śoṣáyati kā́masyéṣuḥ súsaṃnatā |
prācī́napakṣā vyòṣā táyā vidhyāmi tvā hr̥dí ||3||

(Та), что сушит селезенку,
Хорошо нацеленная стрела Камы,
С оперением, устремляющимся вперед, обжигающая - Ею я пронзаю тебя в сердце.

The shaft of Kāma, pointed well, that withers and consumes the
spleen.
With hasty feathers, all aglow, therewith I pierce thee to the
heart.

With that well-aimed arrow of Kāma which parches the spleen, whose plume flies forward, which burns up, do I pierce thee in the heart.

avś_03.025.04.

शुचा॒ विद्धा॒ व्यो॑षया शु॒ष्कास्याभि॒ सर्प मा ।
मृदु॒र् नि॒मन्युः के॒वली प्रियवादि॒न्य् अ॒नुव्रता ॥४॥

śucā́ viddhā́ vyòṣayā śúṣkāsyābhí sarpa mā |
mr̥dúr nímanyuḥ kévalī priyavādíny ánuvratā ||4||

Пронзенная жгучей болью,
С пересохшим ртом приползи ко мне, Мягкая, с утихшим гневом, полностью (моя), Ласково говорящая, покорная!

Pierced through with fiercely-burning heat, steal to me with thy
parching lips,
Gentle and humble, all mine own, devoted, with sweet words of
love.

Consumed by burning ardour, with parched mouth, do thou (woman) come to me, pliant, (thy) pride laid aside, mine alone, speaking sweetly and to me devoted!

avś_03.025.05.

आ॒जामि त्वा॒जन्या प॒रि मातु॒र् अ॒थो पितुः॒ ।
य॒था म॒म क्र॒ताव् अ॒सो म॒म चित्त॒म् उपा॒यसि ॥५॥

ā́jāmi tvā́janyā pári mātúr átho pitúḥ |
yáthā máma krátāv áso máma cittám upā́yasi ||5||

Я пригоняю тебя стрекалом
От матери, а также от отца,
Чтоб оказалась ты в моей власти,
Чтоб пошла ты навстречу моему намерению!

Away Lfrom mother and from sire I drive thee hither with a
whip,
That thou mayst be at my command and yield to every wish of
mine.

I drive thee with a goad from thy mother and thy father, so that thou shalt be in my power, shalt come up to my wish.

avś_03.025.06.

व्य् अ॑स्यै मित्रावरुणौ हृद॒श् चित्ता॒न्य् अस्यतम् ।
अ॒थैनाम् अक्रतुं॒ कृत्वा॒ म॒मैव॒ कृणुतं व॒शे ॥६॥

vy àsyai mitrāvaruṇau hr̥dáś cittā́ny asyatam |
áthainām akratúṃ kr̥tvā́ mámaivá kr̥ṇutaṃ váśe ||6||

О Митра-Варуна, выкиньте
Намерения из сердца у нее!
Сделав ее затем безвольной,
Отдайте же ее в мое распоряжение!

Mitra and Varuna, expel all thought and purpose from her
heart.
Deprive her of her own free will and make her subject unto me.

All her thoughts do ye, O Mitra and Varuna, drive out of her! Then, having deprived her of her will,.put her into my power alone!
