भूतो॒ भूते॒षु प॒य आ॒ दधाति स॒ भूता॒नाम् अ॒धिपतिर् बभूव ।
त॒स्य मृत्यु॒श् चरति राजसू॒यं स॒ रा॒जा अ॒नु मन्यताम् इदं॒ ॥१॥
bhūtó bhūtéṣu páya ā́ dadhāti sá bhūtā́nām ádhipatir babhūva |
tásya mr̥tyúś carati rājasū́yaṃ sá rā́jā ánu manyatām idáṃ ||1||
Бывший влагает жизненную силу в существа.
Он стал высшим господином существ.
Его смерть присутствует на царском посвящении. Пусть он как царь одобрит это царствование!
The Being lays the sap of life in beings: he hath become the
sovran Lord of creatures.
Death comes to this man's royal consecration: let him as King
own and allow this kingdom.
Himself prosperous (bhūto), he does put strength into the beings (bhūteshu); he became the chief lord of the beings (bhūtānām). To his consecration death does come: may he, the king, favour this kingdom!
avś_04.008.02.
अभि॒ प्रे॒हि मा॒प वेन उग्र॒श् चेत्ता॒ सपत्नहा॒ ।
आ॒ तिष्ठ मित्रवर्धन तु॒भ्यम् देवा॒ अ॒धि ब्रुवन् ॥२॥
abhí préhi mā́pa vena ugráś cettā́ sapatnahā́ |
ā́ tiṣṭha mitravardhana túbhyam devā́ ádhi bruvan ||2||
Подойди, не отворачивайся!
Как грозный страж, убийца врагов, Поднимись, о усиливающий друзей! Пусть боги тебя благословят!
Come forward, turn not back in scorn, strong guardian, slayer
of the foes.
Approach, O gladdener of thy friends. The Gods have blessed
and strengthened thee.
Come forth hither-do not glance away-as a mighty guardian, slayer of enemies! Step hither, thou who prosperest thy friends: the gods shall bless thee!
avś_04.008.03.
आति॒ष्ठन्तं प॒रि वि॒श्वे अभूषं छ्रि॒यं व॒सानश् चरति स्व॒रोचिः ।
मह॒त् त॒द् वृ॒ष्णो अ॒सुरस्य ना॒मा॒ विश्व॒रूपो अमृ॒तानि तस्थौ ॥३॥
ātíṣṭhantaṃ pári víśve abhūṣaṃ chríyaṃ vásānaś carati svárociḥ |
mahát tád vŕ̥ṣṇo ásurasya nā́mā́ viśvárūpo amŕ̥tāni tasthau ||3||
Все выказывали почтение к поднимающемуся.
Облачаясь в великолепие, странствует самосветящийся.
Вот великое имя быка Асуры!
Имея все облики, он достиг бессмертных (сущностей).
All waited on him as he came to meet them. He self-resplendent
moves endued with glory.
That is the royal hero's lofty nature: he, manifold, hath gained
immortal powers.
As he did step hither all (men) did attend him. Clothed in grace, he moves, shining by his own lustre. This is the great name of the manly Asura; endowed with every form (quality) he entered upon immortal (deeds).
avś_04.008.04.
व्याघ्रो॒ अ॒धि वै॒याघ्रे वि॒ क्रमस्व दि॒शो महीः॒ ।
वि॒शस् त्वा स॒र्वा वाञ्छन्त्व् आ॒पो दिव्याः॒ प॒यस्वतीः ॥४॥
vyāghró ádhi váiyāghre ví kramasva díśo mahī́ḥ |
víśas tvā sárvā vāñchantv ā́po divyā́ḥ páyasvatīḥ ||4||
Тигр на тигровой шкуре, Вступи в великие стороны света! Да пожелают тебя все племена, Небесные воды, богатые молоком!
Stride forth to heaven's broad regions, thou, a tiger on a tiger's
skin.
Let all the people long for thee. Let heavenly floods be rich in
milk.
Thyself a tiger, do thou upon this tiger-skin stride (victorious) through the great regionst All the clans shall wish for thee, and the heavenly waters, rich in sap!
avś_04.008.05.
या॒ आ॒पो दिव्याः॒ प॒यसा म॒दन्त्य् अन्त॒रिक्ष उत॒ वा पृथिव्या॒म् ।
ता॒सां त्वा स॒र्वासाम् अपा॒म् अभि॒ षिञ्चामि व॒र्चसा ॥५॥
yā́ ā́po divyā́ḥ páyasā mádanty antárikṣa utá vā pr̥thivyā́m |
tā́sāṃ tvā sárvāsām apā́m abhí ṣiñcāmi várcasā ||5||
(Те) небесные воды, что бурлят, (переполненные) молоком, В воздушном пространстве, а также на земле, - Блеском всех этих вод
Я окропляю тебя.
Heaven's waters joyous in their milk, the waters of middle air,
and those that earth containeth-
I with the gathered power and might of all these waters sprinkle
thee,
The heavenly waters, rich in sap, flow joyously, (and too) those in the sky and upon the earth: with the lustre of all of these do I sprinkle thee.
avś_04.008.06.
अभि॒ त्वा व॒र्चसासिचन्न् आ॒पो दिव्याः॒ प॒यस्वतीः ।
य॒था॒सो मित्रव॒र्धनस् त॒था त्वा सविता॒ करत् ॥६॥
abhí tvā várcasāsicann ā́po divyā́ḥ páyasvatīḥ |
yáthā́so mitravárdhanas táthā tvā savitā́ karat ||6||
Тебя окропили блеском
Небесные воды, богатые молоком.
Чтобы стал ты усиливающим друзей, Таким пусть сделает тебя Савитар.
The heavenly waters rich in milk have sprinkled thee with power
and might.
To be the gladdener of thy friends. May Savitar so fashion thee.
They have sprinkled thee with their lustre., the heavenly waters rich in sap. May Savitar thus fashion thee, that thou shalt prosper thy friends!
avś_04.008.07.
एना॒ व्याघ्रं॒ परिषस्वजानाः॒ सिंहं॒ हिन्वन्ति महते॒ सौ॒भगाय ।
समुद्रं॒ न सुभु॒वस् तस्थिवां॒सं मर्मृज्य॒न्ते द्वीपि॒नम् अप्स्व् अ॑न्तः॒ ॥७॥
enā́ vyāghráṃ pariṣasvajānā́ḥ siṃháṃ hinvanti mahaté sáubhagāya |
samudráṃ na subhúvas tasthivā́ṃsaṃ marmr̥jyánte dvīpínam apsv àntáḥ ||7||
Так, обнимая тифа,
Они посылают льва к великой удаче. Как мощные (силы) - стоячий океан, Начищают они леопарда среди вод.
These, compassing the tiger, rouse the lion to great joy and
bliss.
As strong floods purify the standing ocean, so men adorn the
leopard in the waters
(The waters) thus embracing him, the tiger, promote him, the lion, to great good fortune. Him, the leopard in the midst of the waters, as though standing in the ocean, the beneficent (floods, or the vigorous priests) cleanse thoroughly!
