ई॒शाणां त्वा भेषजा॒नाम् उ॒ज्जेष आ॒ रभामहे ।
चक्रे॒ सह॒स्रवीर्यम् स॒र्वस्मा ओषधे त्वा ॥१॥
ī́śāṇāṃ tvā bheṣajā́nām újjeṣa ā́ rabhāmahe |
cakré sahásravīryam sárvasmā oṣadhe tvā ||1||
Тебя, владычицу лекарств, Мы держим, о победительница. Я сделал тебя для каждого Тысячемужественной, о трава!
We seize and hold thee, Conquering One! the queen of medi-
cines that heal.
O Plant, I have endowed thee with a hundred powers for every
man,
We take hold, O victorious one, of thee, the mistress of remedies. I have made thee a thing of thousandfold strength for ever), one, O plant!
avś_04.017.02.
सत्यजि॒तं शपथया॒वनीं स॒हमानां पुनःसरा॒म् ।
स॒र्वाः स॒म् अह्व्य् ओ॒षधीर् इतो॒ नः पारयाद् इ॒ति ॥२॥
satyajítaṃ śapathayā́vanīṃ sáhamānāṃ punaḥsarā́m |
sárvāḥ sám ahvy óṣadhīr itó naḥ pārayād íti ||2||
Ту, что поистине побеждает, что отводит проклятия, Что одолевает, что возвращается вновь, -
Я созвал все травы так:
"Да спасет она нас от этого!"
Still conquering, banishing the curse, mighty, with thy reverted.
bloom.
Thee and all Plants have I invoked: Hence let it save us! was
my prayer.
Her, the unfailingly victorious one, that wards off curses, that is powerful and defensive; (her and) all the plants have I assembled, intending that she shall save us from this (trouble)!
avś_04.017.03.
या॒ शशा॒प श॒पनेन या॒घं॒ मू॒रम् आदधे॒ ।
या॒ र॒सस्य ह॒रणाय जात॒म् आरेभे॒ तोक॒म् अत्तु सा॒ ॥३॥
yā́ śaśā́pa śápanena yā́gháṃ mū́ram ādadhé |
yā́ rásasya háraṇāya jātám ārebhé tokám attu sā́ ||3||
Та, что прокляла проклятием,
Что вложила зло в свой корень,
Что схватила (нашего) младенца, чтоб лишить (его) сока, Да сожрет она (свое) потомство!
She who hath cursed us with a curse, or hath conceived a
murderous sin,
Or seized our son to take his blood, may she devour the child
she bare.
The woman who has cursed us with a curse, who has arranged dire misfortune (for us), who has taken hold of our children, to rob them of their strengthmay she eat (her own) offspring!
avś_04.017.04.
यां॒ ते चक्रु॒र् आमे॒ पा॒त्रे यां॒ चक्रु॒र् नीललोहिते॒ ।
आमे॒ मांसे॒ कृत्यां॒ यां॒ चक्रु॒स् त॒या कृत्याकृ॒तो जहि ॥४॥
yā́ṃ te cakrúr āmé pā́tre yā́ṃ cakrúr nīlalohité |
āmé māṃsé kr̥tyā́ṃ yā́ṃ cakrús táyā kr̥tyākŕ̥to jahi ||4||
То (колдовство), что сделали они в сыром сосуде,
Что сделали они в сине-красном,
То колдовство, что сделали они в сыром мясе, - Убей им сотворивших колдовство!
What magic they have wrought for thee in dish unbaked or
burnt dark-red,
What they have wrought in flesh undressed,—conquer the
sorcerers therewith.
The magic spell which they have put into the unburned vessel, that which they have put into the blue and red thread, that which they have put into raw flesh, with these slay thou those that have prepared the spell!
avś_04.017.05.
दौ॒ष्वप्न्यं दौ॒र्जीवित्यं र॒क्षो अभ्व॑म् अराय्यः॑ ।
दुर्णा॒म्नीः स॒र्वा दुर्वा॒चस् ता॒ अस्म॒न् नाशयामसि ॥५॥
dáuṣvapnyaṃ dáurjīvityaṃ rákṣo abhvàm arāyyàḥ |
durṇā́mnīḥ sárvā durvā́cas tā́ asmán nāśayāmasi ||5||
Кто вызывает дурные сны, кто вызывает дурное житье,
Ракшаса, чудовище, упырих,
Всех с дурным именем, с дурной речью - Мы заставляем их сгинуть прочь от нас!
Ill dream and wretchedness of life, Rākshasa, monster, stingy
hags,
All the she-fiends of evil name and voice, we drive away from
us.
Evil dreams, troubled life, Rakshas, gruesomeness, and grudging demons (arāyī), all the evil-named, evil-speakinor (powers), these do we drive out from us.
avś_04.017.06.
क्षुधामारं॒ तृष्णामार॒म् अगो॒ताम् अनपत्य॒ताम् ।
अ॒पामार्ग त्व॒या वयं॒ स॒र्वं त॒द् अ॒प मृज्महे ॥६॥
kṣudhāmāráṃ tr̥ṣṇāmārám agótām anapatyátām |
ápāmārga tváyā vayáṃ sárvaṃ tád ápa mr̥jmahe ||6||
Смерть от голода, смерть от жажды,
Бескоровность, бездетность -
С твоей помощью, о стирающая прочь, Всё это мы стираем прочь!
Death caused by famine, caused by thirst, failure of children,.
loss of kine,
With thee, O Apāmārga, all this ill we cleanse and wipe away.
Death from hunger, and death from thirst, poverty in cattle, and failure of offspring, all that, O apāmārga, do we wipe out (apa mrigmahe) with thee.
avś_04.017.07.
तृष्णामारं॒ क्षुधामारं॒ अ॒थो अक्षपराजय॒म् ।
अ॒पामार्ग त्व॒या वयं॒ स॒र्वं त॒द् अ॒प मृज्महे ॥७॥
tr̥ṣṇāmāráṃ kṣudhāmāráṃ átho akṣaparājayám |
ápāmārga tváyā vayáṃ sárvaṃ tád ápa mr̥jmahe ||7||
Смерть от голода, смерть от жажды,
А также проигрыш в кости -
С твоей помощью, о стирающая прочь, Всё это мы стираем прочь!
Death caused by thirst, death caused by stress of hunger, loss at
play with dice,
All this, O Apāmārga with thine aid we cleanse and wipe away.
Death from thirst, and death from hunger, moreover, ill-luck at dice, all that, O apāmārga, do we wipe out with thee.
avś_04.017.08.
अपामार्ग॒ ओ॒षधीनां स॒र्वासाम् ए॒क इ॒द् वशी॒ ।
ते॒न ते मृज्म आ॒स्थितम् अ॒थ त्व॒म् अगद॒श् चर ॥८॥
apāmārgá óṣadhīnāṃ sárvāsām éka íd vaśī́ |
téna te mr̥jma ā́sthitam átha tvám agadáś cara ||8||
Ведь стирающая прочь - единственная
Властительница из всех трав.
Ею мы стираем (то), что пристало к тебе, - Так ходи же ты свободный от болезни!
The Apāmārga is alone the sovran of all Plants that grow.
With this we wipe away whate'er hath fallen on thee: go in
health!
The apāmārga is sole ruler over all plants, with it do we wipe mishap from thee: do thou then live exempt from disease!
