इम॒म् इन्द्र वर्धय क्षत्रि॒यं मे इमं॒ विशा॒म् एकवृषं॒ कृणु त्व॒म् ।
नि॒र् अमि॒त्रान् अक्ष्णुह्य् अस्य स॒र्वांस् ता॒न् रन्धयास्मा अहमुत्तरे॒षु ॥१॥
imám indra vardhaya kṣatríyaṃ me imáṃ viśā́m ekavr̥ṣáṃ kr̥ṇu tvám |
nír amítrān akṣṇuhy asya sárvāṃs tā́n randhayāsmā ahamuttaréṣu ||1||
Этого кшатрия, о Индра, усиль для меня!
Сделай ты его единым главой племен!
Оскопи всех недругов его!
Отдай их ему во власть в состязаниях за превосходство!
Exalt and strengthen this my Prince, O Indra, Make him sole
lord and leader of the people.
Scatter his foes, deliver all his rivals into his hand in struggles
for precedence.
This warrior, O Indra, do thou strengthen for me, do thou install this one as sole ruler (bull) of the Vis (the people); emasculate all his enemies, subject them to him in (their) contests!
avś_04.022.02.
ए॒मं॒ भज ग्रा॒मे अ॒श्वेषु गो॒षु नि॒ष् टं॒ भज यो॒ अमि॒त्रो अस्य॒ ।
व॒र्ष्म क्षत्रा॒णाम् अय॒म् अस्तु रा॒जे॒न्द्र श॒त्रुं रन्धय स॒र्वम् अस्मै॒ ॥२॥
émáṃ bhaja grā́me áśveṣu góṣu níṣ ṭáṃ bhaja yó amítro asyá |
várṣma kṣatrā́ṇām ayám astu rā́jéndra śátruṃ randhaya sárvam asmái ||2||
Надели его деревней, конями, коровами!
Обдели того, кто его недруг!
Вершиной правителей да будет этот царь!
О Индра, любого врага отдай ему во власть!
Give him a share in village, kine, and horses, and leave his
enemy without a portion.
Let him as King be head and chief of Princes, Give up to him,
O Indra, every foeman.
To him apportion his share of villages, horses, and cattle; deprive of his share the one that is his enemy! May this king be the pinnacle of royalty; subject to him, O Indra, every enemy!
avś_04.022.03.
अय॒म् अस्तु ध॒नपतिर् ध॒नानाम् अयं॒ विशां॒ विश्प॒तिर् अस्तु रा॒जा ।
अस्मि॒न्न् इन्द्र म॒हि व॒र्चांसि धेह्य् अवर्च॒सं कृणुहि श॒त्रुम् अस्य ॥३॥
ayám astu dhánapatir dhánānām ayáṃ viśā́ṃ viśpátir astu rā́jā |
asmínn indra máhi várcāṃsi dhehy avarcásaṃ kr̥ṇuhi śátrum asya ||3||
Да будет он господином богатств среди богатств!
Да будет этот царь господином племен среди племен!
Вложи в него, о Индра, великий блеск!
Лишенным блеска сделай его врага!
Let him be treasure-lord of goodly treasures, let him as King be
master of the people.
Grant unto him great power and might, O Indra, and strip his
enemy of strength and vigour.
May this one be the treasure-lord of riches, may this king be the tribal lord of the Vis (the people)! Upon this one, O Indra, bestow great lustre, devoid of lustre render his enemy!
avś_04.022.04.
अस्मै॒ द्यावापृथिवी भू॒रि वामं॒ दुहाथां घर्मदु॒घे इव॒ धेनू॒ ।
अयं॒ रा॒जा प्रिय॒ इ॒न्द्रस्य भूयात् प्रियो॒ ग॒वाम् ओ॒षधीनां पशूना॒म् ॥४॥
asmái dyāvāpr̥thivī bhū́ri vāmáṃ duhāthāṃ gharmadúghe ivá dhenū́ |
ayáṃ rā́jā priyá índrasya bhūyāt priyó gávām óṣadhīnāṃ paśūnā́m ||4||
Для него, о Небо-и-Земля, надоите много хорошего,
Как две дойные коровы, доящиеся теплым молоком!
Да будет этот царь приятен Индре,
Приятен коровам, растениям, скоту!
Like milch-kine yielding milk for warm libations, pour, Heaven
and Earth! on him full many a blessing.
May he as King be Indra's well-beloved, the darling of the kine,
the plants, the cattle.
For him shall ye, O heaven and earth, milk ample good, as two milch-cows yielding warm milk! May this king be favoured of Indra, favoured of cows, of plants, and cattle!
avś_04.022.05.
युन॒ज्मि त उत्तरा॒वन्तम् इ॒न्द्रं ये॒न ज॒यन्ति न॒ पराज॒यन्ते ।
य॒स् त्वा क॒रद् एकवृषं॒ ज॒नानाम् उत॒ रा॒ज्ञाम् उत्तमं॒ मानवा॒नाम् ॥५॥
yunájmi ta uttarā́vantam índraṃ yéna jáyanti ná parājáyante |
yás tvā kárad ekavr̥ṣáṃ jánānām utá rā́jñām uttamáṃ mānavā́nām ||5||
Я присоединяю к тебе Индру, обладающего превосходством,
С чьей помощью побеждают (и) не терпят поражения,
Кто тебя сделает единым главой людей,
А также высшим из царей, происходящих от Ману.
I join in league with thee victorious Indra, with whom men
conquer and are ne'er defeated.
He shall make thee the folk's sole lord and leader, shall make
thee highest of all human rulers.
I unite with thee Indra who has supremacy, through whom one conquers and is not (himself) conquered, who shall install thee as sole ruler of the people, and as chief of the human kings.
avś_04.022.06.
उ॒त्तरस् त्व॒म् अ॒धरे ते सप॒त्ना ये॒ के॒ च राजन् प्र॒तिशत्रवस् ते ।
एकवृष॒ इ॒न्द्रसखा जिगीवां॒ छत्रूयता॒म् आ॒ भरा भो॒जनानि ॥६॥
úttaras tvám ádhare te sapátnā yé ké ca rājan prátiśatravas te |
ekavr̥ṣá índrasakhā jigīvā́ṃ chatrūyatā́m ā́ bharā bhójanāni ||6||
Высший ты, низшие твои соперники,
Кто бы ни были, о царь, противники твои!
Единый глава, с Индрой-союзником, победитель,
Забери удовольствия у враждующих (с нами)!
Supreme art thou, beneath thee are thy rivals, and all, O King,
who were thine adversaries.
Sole lord and leader and allied with Indra, bring, conqueror, thy
foremen's goods and treasures.
Superior art thou, inferior are thy rivals, and whatsoever adversaries are thine, O king! Sole ruler, befriended of Indra, victorious, bring thou hither the supplies of those who act as thy enemies!
avś_04.022.07.
सिंह॒प्रतीको वि॒शो अद्धि स॒र्वा व्याघ्र॒प्रतीको॒ ऽव बाधस्व श॒त्रून् ।
एकवृष॒ इ॒न्द्रसखा जिगीवां॒ छत्रूयता॒म् आ॒ खिदा भो॒जनानि ॥७॥
siṃhápratīko víśo addhi sárvā vyāghrápratīkó 'va bādhasva śátrūn |
ekavr̥ṣá índrasakhā jigīvā́ṃ chatrūyatā́m ā́ khidā bhójanāni ||7||
Ты, с обликом льва, сожри все племена!
Ты, с обликом тифа, уничтожь врагов!
Единый глава, с Индрой-союзником, победитель,
Вырви удовольствия у враждующих (с нами)!
Consume, with lion aspect, all their hamlets, with tiger aspect,
drive away thy foemen.
Sole lord and leader and allied with Indra, seize, conqueror,
thine enemies' possessions.
Presenting the front of a lion do thou devour all (their) people, presenting the front of a tiger do thou strike down the enemies! Sole ruler, befriended of Indra, victorious, seize upon the supplies of those who act as thy enemies!
