भ॒वाशर्वौ मन्वे॒ वां त॒स्य वित्तं य॒योर् वाम् इदं॒ प्रदि॒शि य॒द् विरो॒चते ।
या॒व् अस्ये॒शाथे द्विप॒दो यौ॒ च॒तुष्पदस् तौ॒ नो मुञ्चतम् अं॒हसः ॥१॥
bhávāśarvau manvé vāṃ tásya vittaṃ yáyor vām idáṃ pradíśi yád virócate |
yā́v asyéśāthe dvipádo yáu cátuṣpadas táu no muñcatam áṃhasaḥ ||1||
О Бхава-и-Шарва, (на вас) я сосредоточен - вы об этом знаете,
Вы, в чью сторону здесь (направлено всё), что светит,
Кто властвует над этими двуногими, кто над четвероногими, - Избавьте вы нас от беды!
I Reverence you—mark this—Bhava and Sarva, ye under whose
control is this that shineth.
Lords of this world both quadruped and biped. Deliver us, ye
twain, from grief and trouble.
O Bhava and Sarva, I am devoted to you. Take note of that, ye under whose control, is all this which shines (the visible universe)! Ye who rule all these two-footed and four-footed creatures, deliver us from calamity!
avś_04.028.02.
य॒योर् अभ्यभ्व॒ उत॒ य॒द् दूरे॒ चिद् यौ॒ विदिता॒व् इषुभृ॒ताम् अ॒सिष्ठौ ।
या॒व् अस्ये॒शथे द्विप॒दो यौ॒ च॒तुष्पदस् तौ॒ नो मुञ्चतम् अं॒हसः ॥२॥
yáyor abhyabhvá utá yád dūré cid yáu viditā́v iṣubhŕ̥tām ásiṣṭhau |
yā́v asyéśathe dvipádo yáu cátuṣpadas táu no muñcatam áṃhasaḥ ||2||
У кого на пути (встречается) даже (то), что далеко,
Кто известен как два лучших стрелка из носящих стрелы, Кто властвует над этими двуногими и над четвероногими - Избавьте вы нас от беды!
Lords of all near and even of what is distant, famed as the best
and skilfullest of archers,
Lords of this world both quadruped and biped, Deliver us, ye
twain, from grief and trouble.
Ye to whom belongs all that is near by, yea, all that is far; ye who are known as the most skilful archers among bowmen; ye who rule all these two-footed and four-footed creatures, deliver us from calamity!

सहस्राक्षौ॒ वृत्रह॒ना हुवेहं॒ दूरे॒गव्यूती स्तुव॒न्न् एम्य् उग्रौ॒ ।
या॒व् अस्ये॒शथे द्विप॒दो यौ॒ च॒तुष्पदस् तौ॒ नो मुञ्चतम् अं॒हसः ॥३॥
sahasrākṣáu vr̥trahánā huveháṃ dūrégavyūtī stuvánn emy ugráu |
yā́v asyéśathe dvipádo yáu cátuṣpadas táu no muñcatam áṃhasaḥ ||3||
Я зову двоих тысячеглазых убийц Вритры,
Я иду, славя двоих грозных, чьи пастбища далеко.
Кто властвует над этими двуногими и над четвероногими -
Избавьте вы нас от беды!
Thousand-eyed foe-destroyers, I invoke you, still praising you
the strong, of wide dominion:
Lords of this world both quadruped and biped, Deliver us, ye
twain, from grief and trouble.
The thousand-eyed slayers of Vritra both do I invoke. I go praising the two strong gods (ugrau) whose pastures extend far. Ye who rule all these two-footed and four-footed creatures, deliver us from calamity!

या॒व् आरेभा॒थे बहु॒ साक॒म् अ॒ग्रे प्र॒ चे॒द् अ॒स्राष्ट्रम् अभिभां॒ ज॒नेषु ।
या॒व् अस्ये॒शथे द्विप॒दो यौ॒ च॒तुष्पदस् तौ॒ नो मुञ्चतम् अं॒हसः ॥४॥
yā́v ārebhā́the bahú sākám ágre prá céd ásrāṣṭram abhibhā́ṃ jáneṣu |
yā́v asyéśathe dvipádo yáu cátuṣpadas táu no muñcatam áṃhasaḥ ||4||
Кто сразу захватил многое с (самого) начала
И вызвал дурное предзнаменование среди людей,
Кто властвует над этими двуногими и над четвероногими -
Избавьте вы нас от беды!
Ye who of old wrought many a deed in concert, and showed
among mankind unhappy omens;
Lords of this world both quadruped and biped, Deliver us, ye
twain, from grief and trouble.
Ye who, united, did undertake many (deeds) of old, and, moreover, did visit portents upon the. people; ye who rule all these two-footed and fourfooted creatures, deliver us from calamity!
avś_04.028.05.
य॒योर् वधा॒न् ना॒पप॒द्यते क॒श् चना॒न्त॒र् देवे॒षूत॒ मा॒नुषेषु ।
या॒व् अस्ये॒शथे द्विप॒दो यौ॒ च॒तुष्पदस् तौ॒ नो मुञ्चतम् अं॒हसः ॥५॥
yáyor vadhā́n nā́papádyate káś canā́ntár devéṣūtá mā́nuṣeṣu |
yā́v asyéśathe dvipádo yáu cátuṣpadas táu no muñcatam áṃhasaḥ ||5||
Чьего смертельного оружия не избежит никто
Среди богов и среди людей,
Кто властвует над этими двуногими и над четвероногими - Избавьте вы нас от беды!
Ye from the stroke of whose destroying weapon not one among
the Gods or men escapeth,
Lords of this world both quadruped and biped, Deliver us, ye
twain, from grief and trouble.
Ye from whose blows no one either among gods or men escapes; ye who rule all these twofooted and four-footed creatures, deliver us from calamity!
avś_04.028.06.
यः॒ कृत्याकृ॒न् मूलकृ॒द् यातुधा॒नो नि॒ त॒स्मिन् धत्तं व॒ज्रम् उग्रौ॒ ।
या॒व् अस्ये॒शथे द्विप॒दो यौ॒ च॒तुष्पदस् तौ॒ नो मुञ्चतम् अं॒हसः ॥६॥
yáḥ kr̥tyākŕ̥n mūlakŕ̥d yātudhā́no ní tásmin dhattaṃ vájram ugráu |
yā́v asyéśathe dvipádo yáu cátuṣpadas táu no muñcatam áṃhasaḥ ||6||
Какой (есть) колдун, творящий колдовство, срезающий корень,
Опустите на него дубину грома, о двое грозных!
Кто властвует над этими двуногими и над четвероногими - Избавьте вы нас от беды!
Hurl your bolt, strong Gods, at the Yātudhāna, him who makes
ready roots and deals in magic:
Lords of this world both quadruped and biped, Deliver us, ye
twain, from grief and trouble.
The sorcerer who prepares a spell, or manipulates the roots (of plants) against us, against him, ye strong gods, launch your thunderbolt! Ye who rule all these two-footed and four-footed creatures, deliver us from calamity.
avś_04.028.07.
अ॒धि नो ब्रूतं पृ॒तनासूग्रौ सं॒ व॒ज्रेण सृजतं यः॒ किमीदी॒ ।
स्तौ॒मि भवाशर्वौ॒ नाथितो॒ जोहवीमि तौ॒ नो मुञ्चतम् अं॒हसः ॥७॥
ádhi no brūtaṃ pŕ̥tanāsūgrau sáṃ vájreṇa sr̥jataṃ yáḥ kimīdī́ |
stáumi bhavāśarváu nāthitó johavīmi táu no muñcatam áṃhasaḥ ||7||
Вступитесь за нас в сражениях, о двое грозных!
Встретьте дубиной грома (того), кто кимидин!
Я славлю Бхаву-и-Шарву, нуждаясь в помощи, я громко зову: Пусть избавят они нас от беды!
Comfort and aid us, ye strong Gods, in battles, at each Kimidin
send your bolt of thunder.
I, suppliant, praise and ever call on Bhav and Sarva. Set us free
from grief and trouble.
Ye strong gods, favour us in battles, bring into contact with your thunderbolt the Kimīdin! I praise you, O Bhava and Sarva, call fervently upon you in distress: deliver us from calamity!
