उद्भिन्दतीं॒ संज॒यन्तीम् अप्सरां॒ साधुदेवि॒नीम् ।
ग्ल॒हे कृता॒नि कृण्वाना॒म् अप्सरां॒ ता॒म् इह॒ हुवे ॥१॥

udbhindatī́ṃ saṃjáyantīm apsarā́ṃ sādhudevínīm |
gláhe kr̥tā́ni kr̥ṇvānā́m apsarā́ṃ tā́m ihá huve ||1||

Прорывающуюся (через всё) Апсару, Всепобеждающую, удачно играющую, Создающую счастливые взятки при выхватывании (костей), Эту Апсару я сюда призываю.

Hither I call the Apsaras, victorious, who plays with skill,
Her who comes freely fort to view, who wins the stakes in games
of dice.

The successful, victorious, skilfully gaming Apsarā, that Apsarā who makes the winnings in the game of dice, do I call hither.

avś_04.038.02.

विचिन्वती॒म् आकिर॒न्तीम् अप्सरां॒ साधुदेवि॒नीम् ।
ग्ल॒हे कृता॒नि गृह्णाना॒म् अप्सरां॒ ता॒म् इह॒ हुवे ॥२॥

vicinvatī́m ākirántīm apsarā́ṃ sādhudevínīm |
gláhe kr̥tā́ni gr̥hṇānā́m apsarā́ṃ tā́m ihá huve ||2||

Раскладывающую (и) сгребающую (кости)
Апсару, удачно играющую,
Хватающую счастливые взятки при выхватывании (костей), Эту Апсару я сюда призываю.

Hither I call that Apsaras who scatters and who gathers up.
The Apsaras who plays with skill and takes her winnings in the
game.

The skilfully gaming Apsarā who sweeps and heaps up (the stakes), that Apsarā who takes the winnings in the game of dice, do I call hither.

avś_04.038.03.

या॒यैः परिनृ॒त्यत्य् आद॒दाना कृतं॒ ग्ल॒हात् ।
सा॒ नः कृता॒नि सीषती॒ प्रहा॒म् आप्नोतु माय॒या ।
सा॒ नः प॒यस्वत्य् ऐ॒तु मा॒ नो जैषुर् इदं॒ ध॒नम् ॥३॥

yā́yaiḥ parinŕ̥tyaty ādádānā kr̥táṃ gláhāt |
sā́ naḥ kr̥tā́ni sīṣatī́ prahā́m āpnotu māyáyā |
sā́ naḥ páyasvaty áitu mā́ no jaiṣur idáṃ dhánam ||3||

(Та), что танцует вокруг с определенным числом костей,
Забирая себе счастливую взятку из выхваченных костей,
Пусть она, стараясь заполучить для нас счастливую взятку,
Добьется выигрыша колдовскою силой!
Пусть придет она к нам, полная молока! Да не выиграют здесь нашу ставку!

Dancing around us with the dice, winning the wager by her
play.
May she obtain the stake for us and gain the victory with skill.
May she approach us full of strength: let them not win this
wealth of ours.

May she, who dances about with the dice, when she takes the stakes from the game of dice, when she desires to win for us, obtain the advantage by (her) magic! May she come to us full of abundance! Let them not win this wealth of ours!

avś_04.038.04.

या॒ अक्षे॒षु प्रमो॒दन्ते शु॒चं क्रो॒धं च बि॒भ्रती ।
आनन्दि॒नीं प्रमोदि॒नीम् अप्सरां॒ ता॒म् इह॒ हुवे ॥४॥

yā́ akṣéṣu pramódante śúcaṃ kródhaṃ ca bíbhratī |
ānandínīṃ pramodínīm apsarā́ṃ tā́m ihá huve ||4||

(Ту), что наслаждается игральными костями,
Неся (с собою) боль и гнев,
Радостную, наслаждающуюся - Эту Апсару я сюда призываю.

Hither I call that Apsaras, the joyous, the delightful one—
Those nymphs who revel in the dice, who suffer grief and yield
to wrath.

The (Apsarās) who rejoice in dice, who carry grief and wrath-tbat joyful and exulting Apsarā, do I call hither.

avś_04.038.05.

सू॒र्यस्य रश्मी॒न् अ॒नु याः॒ सञ्च॒रन्ति म॒रीचीर् वा या॒ अनुसञ्च॒रन्ति ।
या॒साम् ऋषभो॒ दूरतो॒ वाजि॒नीवान्त् सद्यः॒ स॒र्वान् लोका॒न् पर्ये॒ति र॒क्षन् ।
स॒ न ऐ॒तु हो॒मम् इमं॒ जुसाणो॑ ऽन्त॒रिक्षेण सह॒ वाजि॒नीवान् ॥५॥

sū́ryasya raśmī́n ánu yā́ḥ sañcáranti márīcīr vā yā́ anusañcáranti |
yā́sām r̥ṣabhó dūrató vājínīvānt sadyáḥ sárvān lokā́n paryéti rákṣan |
sá na áitu hómam imáṃ jusāṇò 'ntárikṣeṇa sahá vājínīvān ||5||

(Те), что бродят вместе вслед за лучами солнца,
Или что бродят вместе вслед за потоками света,
Чей мужественный бык издалека
Сразу обходит все миры, защищая (их),
Пусть он придет к нам, довольный этой жертвой,
Вместе с воздушным пространством, мужественный!

Who follow in their course the rays of Sūrya, or as a particle of
light attend him.
Whose leader from afar, with store of riches, compasses quickly
all the worlds and guards them.
Pleased, may he come to this our burnt oblation, together with
the Air, enriched with treasure.

They (the cattle) who wander along the rays of the sun, or they who wander along the flood of light) they whose bull (the. sun), full of strength, from afar protecting, with the day wanders about all the worlds-may he (the bull), full of strength, delighting in this offering, come to us touether with the atmosphere!

avś_04.038.06.

अन्त॒रिक्षेन सह॒ वाजिनीवन् कर्कीं॒ वत्सा॒म् इह॒ रक्ष वाजिन् ।
इमे॒ ते स्तोका॒ बहुला॒ ए॒ह्य् अर्वा॒ङ् इयं॒ ते कर्की॒ह॒ ते म॒नो ऽस्तु ॥६॥

antárikṣena sahá vājinīvan karkī́ṃ vatsā́m ihá rakṣa vājin |
imé te stokā́ bahulā́ éhy arvā́ṅ iyáṃ te karkī́há te máno 'stu ||6||

Вместе с воздушным пространством, о мужественный,
Защити ты здесь белую телку, о победоносный!
Вот много капель для тебя. Приди в наши края! Эта белая телка твоя. Здесь пусть будет твоя мысль!

Together with the Air, O rich in treasure, guard here the white
cow and the calf, O mighty!
Here are abundant drops for thee, come hither! Here is thy
white calf, let thy mind be with us.

Together with the atmosphere, O thou who art full of strength, protect the white (karkī) calf, O thou swift steed (the sun)! Here are many drops (of ghee) for thee; come hither! May this white calf (karkī) of thine, may thy mind, be here!

avś_04.038.07.

अन्त॒रिक्षेण सह॒ वाजिनीवन् कर्कीं॒ वत्सा॒म् इह॒ रक्ष वाजिन् ।
अयं॒ घासो॒ अयं॒ व्रज॒ इह॒ वत्सां॒ नि॒ बध्नीमः ।
यथानाम॒ व ईश्महे स्वा॒हा ॥७॥

antárikṣeṇa sahá vājinīvan karkī́ṃ vatsā́m ihá rakṣa vājin |
ayáṃ ghāsó ayáṃ vrajá ihá vatsā́ṃ ní badhnīmaḥ |
yathānāmá va īśmahe svā́hā ||7||

Вместе с воздушным пространством, о мужественный,
Защити ты здесь белую телку, о победоносный!
Вот корм, вот загон.
Сюда мы привязываем телку.
В соответствии с именем мы владеем вами. "Свага!"

Together with the Air, O rich in treasure, keep the white calf in
safety here, O mighty!
Here is the grass, here is the stall, here do we bind the calf. We
are your masters, name by name. All Hail!

Together with the atmosphere, O thou who art full of strength, protect the white (karkī) calf, O thou swift steed (the sun)! Here is the fodder, here the stall, here do we tie down the calf. Whatever (are your) names, we own you. Hail!
