सुपर्ण॒स् त्वा॒न्व् अविन्दत् सूकर॒स् त्वाखनन् नसा॒ ।
दि॒प्सौषधे त्वं॒ दि॒प्सन्तम् अ॒व कृत्याकृ॒तं जहि ॥१॥
suparṇás tvā́nv avindat sūkarás tvākhanan nasā́ |
dípsauṣadhe tváṃ dípsantam áva kr̥tyākŕ̥taṃ jahi ||1||
Орел тебя нашел. Кабан тебя выкопал рылом.
Постарайся ты навредить тому, о трава, кто старается навредить. Пришиби сотворившего колдовство!
An eagle found thee: with his snout a wild boar dug thee from
the earth.
Harm thou, O Plant, the mischievous, and drive the sorcerer
away.
An eagle found thee out, a boar dug thee out with his snout. Seek thou, O plant, to injure him that seeks to injure (us), strike down him that prepares spells (against us'!
avś_05.014.02.
अ॒व जहि यातुधा॒नान् अ॒व कृत्याकृ॒तं जहि ।
अ॒थो यो॒ अस्मा॒न् दि॒प्सति त॒म् उ त्वं॒ जह्य् ओषधे ॥२॥
áva jahi yātudhā́nān áva kr̥tyākŕ̥taṃ jahi |
átho yó asmā́n dípsati tám u tváṃ jahy oṣadhe ||2||
Пришиби колдунов,
Пришиби сотворившего колдовство, А затем, кто нам старается навредить, Того ты тоже убей, о трава!
Beat thou the Yātudhānas back, drive thou away the sorcerer;
And chase afar, O Plant, the man who fain would do us injury.
Strike down the wizards, strike down him that prepares spells (against us); slay thou, moreover, O plant, him that seeks to injure us!
avś_05.014.03.
रि॒श्यस्येव परीशासं॒ परिकृ॒त्य प॒रि त्वचः॒ ।
कृत्यां॒ कृत्याकृ॒ते देवा निष्क॒म् इव प्र॒ति मुञ्चत ॥३॥
ríśyasyeva parīśāsáṃ parikŕ̥tya pári tvacáḥ |
kr̥tyā́ṃ kr̥tyākŕ̥te devā niṣkám iva práti muñcata ||3||
Вырезав кругом полоску из (его) кожи,
Как у самца антилопы,
Наденьте, о боги, как ожерелье, Колдовство на сотворившего колдовство!
As 'twere a strip cut round from skin of a white-footed an-
telope,
Bind, like a golden chain, O God, his witchcraft on the sorcerer.
Cutting out from the skin (of the enemy) as if (from the skin) of an antelope, do ye, O gods, fasten the spell upon him that prepares it, as (one fastens) an ornament!
avś_05.014.04.
पु॒नः कृत्यां॒ कृत्याकृ॒ते हस्तगृ॒ह्य प॒रा णय ।
समक्ष॒म् अस्मा आ॒ धेहि य॒था कृत्याकृ॒तम् ह॒नत् ॥४॥
púnaḥ kr̥tyā́ṃ kr̥tyākŕ̥te hastagŕ̥hya párā ṇaya |
samakṣám asmā ā́ dhehi yáthā kr̥tyākŕ̥tam hánat ||4||
Взяв за руку, уведи прочь
Колдовство обратно к сотворившему колдовство!
Прямо перед ним помести (его),
Чтоб оно убило сотворившего колдовство!
Take thou his sorcery by the hand, and to the sorcerer lead it
back.
Lay it before him, face to face, that it may kill the sorcerer.
Take hold by the hand and lead away the spell back to him that prepares it! Place it in his very presence, so that it shall slay him that prepares the spell!
avś_05.014.05.
कृत्याः॒ सन्तु कृत्याकृ॒ते शप॒थः शपथीयते॒ ।
सुखो॒ र॒थ इव वर्ततां कृत्या॒ कृत्याकृ॒तं पु॒नः ॥५॥
kr̥tyā́ḥ santu kr̥tyākŕ̥te śapáthaḥ śapathīyaté |
sukhó rátha iva vartatāṃ kr̥tyā́ kr̥tyākŕ̥taṃ púnaḥ ||5||
Да обернутся колдовские чары против сотворившего колдовство,
Проклятие - против проклинающего!
Да покатится обратно как легкая колесница Колдовство к сотворившему колдовство!
Back on the wizard fall his craft, upon the curser light his
curse!
Let witchcraft, like a well-naved car, roll back upon the
sorcerer.
The spells shall take effect upon him that prepares the spells, the curse upon him that pronounces the curse! As a chariot with easy-going wheels, the spell shall turn back upon him that prepares the spell!
avś_05.014.06.
य॒दि स्त्री॒ य॒दि वा पु॒मान् कृत्यां॒ चका॒र पाप्म॒ने ।
ता॒म् उ त॒स्मै नयामस्य् अ॒श्वम् इवाश्वाभिधा॒न्या ॥६॥
yádi strī́ yádi vā púmān kr̥tyā́ṃ cakā́ra pāpmáne |
tā́m u tásmai nayāmasy áśvam ivāśvābhidhā́nyā ||6||
Если женщина или если мужчина
Во зло сотворили колдовство,
Его же мы и отводим к ним (обратно), Как коня на конском поводу.
Whoso, for other's harm hath dealt-woman or man-in magic
arts,
To him we lead the sorcery back, even as a courser with a rope.
Whether a woman, or whether a man has prepared the spell for evil, we lead that spell to him as a horse with the halter.
avś_05.014.07.
य॒दि वा॒सि देव॒कृता य॒दि वा पु॒रुषैः कृता॒ ।
तां॒ त्वा पु॒नर् णयामसी॒न्द्रेण सयु॒जा वय॒म् ॥७॥
yádi vā́si devákr̥tā yádi vā púruṣaiḥ kr̥tā́ |
tā́ṃ tvā púnar ṇayāmasī́ndreṇa sayújā vayám ||7||
Если ты создано богами
Или если ты создано людьми -
Тебя такое мы отводим (к ним) обратно,
Имея Индру союзником.
Now whether thou hast been prepared by Gods or been pre-
pared by men,
We, with our Indra at our side to aid us, lead thee back again.
Whether thou hast been prepared by the gods, or hast been prepared by men, we lead thee back with the help of Indra as an ally.
avś_05.014.08.
अ॒ग्ने पृतनाषाट् पृ॒तनाः सहस्व ।
पु॒नः कृत्यां॒ कृत्याकृ॒ते प्रतिह॒रणेन हरामसि ॥८॥
ágne pr̥tanāṣāṭ pŕ̥tanāḥ sahasva |
púnaḥ kr̥tyā́ṃ kr̥tyākŕ̥te pratiháraṇena harāmasi ||8||
О Агни, одолевающий бойцов,
Одолей бойцов!
Отражая, мы несем обратно Колдовство к сотворившему колдовство!
Agni, victorious in fight, subdue the armies of our foes!
Back on the sorcerer we cast his sorcery, and beat it home.
O Agni gainer of battles, do thou gain the battles! With a counter-charm do we hurl back the spell upon him that prepares the spell.
avś_05.014.09.
कृ॒तव्यधनि वि॒ध्य तं॒ य॒श् चका॒र त॒म् इ॒ज् जहि ।
न॒ त्वा॒म् अ॒चक्रुषे वयं॒ वधा॒य सं॒ शिशीमहि ॥९॥
kŕ̥tavyadhani vídhya táṃ yáś cakā́ra tám íj jahi |
ná tvā́m ácakruṣe vayáṃ vadhā́ya sáṃ śiśīmahi ||9||
О умелая пронзительница, пронзи того,
Кто сделал (это)! Его и убей!
Мы не подстрекаем тебя на убийство (Того), кто не делал (этого).
Thou who hast piercing weapons, pierce him who hath wrought
it; conquer him.
We do not sharpen thee to slay the man who hath not practised
it.
Hold ready, (O plant,) thy weapon, and strike him, slay the very one that has prepared (the spell)! We do not whet thee for the destruction of him that has not practised (spells).
avś_05.014.10.
पुत्र॒ इव पित॒रं गछ स्वज॒ इवाभि॒ष्ठितो दश ।
बन्ध॒म् इवावक्रामी॒ गछ कृ॒त्ये कृत्याकृ॒तं पु॒नः ॥१०॥
putrá iva pitáraṃ gacha svajá ivābhíṣṭhito daśa |
bandhám ivāvakrāmī́ gacha kŕ̥tye kr̥tyākŕ̥taṃ púnaḥ ||10||
Иди как сын к отцу!
Хватай как потревоженный удав! Словно наступая на привязь, иди Обратно, колдовство, к сотворившему колдовство!
Go as a son goes to his sire: bite as a trampled viper bites.
As one who flies from bonds, go back, O Witchcraft, to the
sorcerer.
Go as a son to his father, bite like an adder that has been stepped upon. Return thou, O spell, to him that prepares the spell, as one who overcomes his fetters!
avś_05.014.11.
उ॒द् एणी॒व वारण्य् अ॑भिस्क॒न्दं मृगी॒व ।
कृत्या॒ कर्ता॒रम् ऋछतु ॥११॥
úd eṇī́va vāraṇy àbhiskándaṃ mr̥gī́va |
kr̥tyā́ kartā́ram r̥chatu ||11||
Вверх, как дикая антилопа,
Вприпрыжку, как лань,
Пусть мчится колдовство к творцу (своему)!
Even as the timid antelope or hind from her assailant flees,
So swiftly let the sorcery o'ertake and reach the sorcerer.
As the shy deer, the antelope, goes out to the mating (buck), thus the spell shall reach him that prepares it!
avś_05.014.12.
इ॒ष्वा ऋ॒जीयः पततु द्या॒वापृथिवी तं॒ प्र॒ति ।
सा॒ तं॒ मृग॒म् इव गृह्णातु कृत्या॒ कृत्याकृ॒तं पु॒नः ॥१२॥
íṣvā ŕ̥jīyaḥ patatu dyā́vāpr̥thivī táṃ práti |
sā́ táṃ mr̥gám iva gr̥hṇātu kr̥tyā́ kr̥tyākŕ̥taṃ púnaḥ ||12||
Да полетит оно к нему
Прямее, чем стрела, о Небо-и-Земля!
Да вцепится оно в него снова, как в оленя,
Колдовство - в сотворившего колдовство!
Straighter than any arrow let it fly against him, Heaven and
Earth.
So let that witchcraft seize again the wizard like a beast of
chase.
Straighter than an arrow may it (the spell) fly against him, O ye heaven and earth; may that spell take hold again of him that prepares it, as (a hunter) of his game!
avś_05.014.13.
अग्नि॒र् इवैतु प्रतिकू॒लम् अनुकू॒लम् इवोदक॒म् ।
सुखो॒ र॒थ इव वर्ततां कृत्या॒ कृत्याकृ॒तं पु॒नः ॥१३॥
agnír ivaitu pratikū́lam anukū́lam ivodakám |
sukhó rátha iva vartatāṃ kr̥tyā́ kr̥tyākŕ̥taṃ púnaḥ ||13||
Да пойдет оно, как огонь, против течения,
По течению, как вода!
Да покатится обратно как легкая колесница Колдовство - к сотворившему колдовство!
Let it go contrary like flame, like water following its course.
Let witchcraft, like a well-naved car, roll back upon the
sorcerer.
Like fire (the spell) shall progress in the teeth of obstacles, like water along its course! As a chariot with easy-going wheels the spell shall turn back upon him that prepares the spell!
