आव॒तस् त आव॒तः पराव॒तस् त आव॒तः ।
इहै॒व॒ भव मा॒ नु॒ गा मा॒ पू॒र्वान् अ॒नु गाः पितृ॒̄न् अ॒सुं बध्नामि ते दृढ॒म् ॥१॥
āvátas ta āvátaḥ parāvátas ta āvátaḥ |
iháivá bhava mā́ nú gā mā́ pū́rvān ánu gāḥ pitr̥̄́n ásuṃ badhnāmi te dr̥ḍhám ||1||
Близи твои - близи,
Дали твои - близи.
Будь только здесь! Не уходи сейчас! Не следуй за прежними отцами! Я крепко привязываю твою жизнь!
From thy vicinity I call, from near, from far, from night at
hand.
Stay here: depart not: follow not the Fathers of the olden
time. I bind thy vital spirit fast.
From near thy vicinity, from near thy distance (do I call): remain here, do not follow; do not follow the Fathers of yore! Firmly do I fasten thy life's breath.
avś_05.030.02.
य॒त् त्वाभिचेरुः॒ पु॒रुषः स्वो॒ य॒द् अ॒रणो ज॒नः ।
उन्मोचनप्रमोचने॒ उभे॒ वाचा॒ वदामि ते ॥२॥
yát tvābhicerúḥ púruṣaḥ svó yád áraṇo jánaḥ |
unmocanapramocané ubhé vācā́ vadāmi te ||2||
Если тебя заколдовали: свой Человек (или) если из чужих людей, Освобождение и избавление - то и другое Я провозглашаю тебе речью (своей).
If any man, a stranger or akin, hath cast a spell on thee,
I with my voice to thee declare thy freedom and release there-
from.
Whatever sorcery any kinsman or stranger has practised against thee, both release and deliverance with my voice do I declare for thee.
avś_05.030.03.
य॒द् दुद्रो॒हिथ शेपिषे॒ स्त्रियै॒ पुंसे॒ अ॒चित्त्या ।
उन्मोचनप्रमोचने॒ उभे॒ वाचा॒ वदामि ते ॥३॥
yád dudróhitha śepiṣé striyái puṃsé ácittyā |
unmocanapramocané ubhé vācā́ vadāmi te ||3||
Если ты проявил злобу, проклял Женщину (или) мужчину по неразумию, Освобождение и избавление - то и другое Я провозглашаю тебе речью (своей).
If in thy folly thou hast lied or cursed a woman or a man,
I with my voice declare to thee thy freedom and release there-
from.
If thou hast deceived or cursed a woman or a man in thy folly, both release and deliverance with my voice do I declare for thee.
avś_05.030.04.
य॒त् ए॒नसो मातृ॒कृताच् छे॒षे पितृ॒कृताच् च य॒त् ।
उन्मोचनप्रमोचने॒ उभे॒ वाचा॒ वदामि ते ॥४॥
yát énaso mātŕ̥kr̥tāc chéṣe pitŕ̥kr̥tāc ca yát |
unmocanapramocané ubhé vācā́ vadāmi te ||4||
Если ты лежишь (распростертый) из-за греха, Что совершен матерью и что совершен отцом, Освобождение и избавление - то и другое
Я провозглашаю тебе речью (своей).
If thou art lying there because of mother's or of father's sin,
I with my voice declare to thee thy freedom and release there-
from.
If thou liest (ill) in consequence of a sin committed by thy mother or thy father, both release and deliverance with my voice do I declare for thee.
avś_05.030.05.
य॒त् ते माता॒ य॒त् ते पिता॒ जमि॒र् भ्रा॒ता च स॒र्जतः ।
प्रत्य॒क् सेवस्व भेषजं॒ जर॒दष्टिं कृणोमि त्वा ॥५॥
yát te mātā́ yát te pitā́ jamír bhrā́tā ca sárjataḥ |
pratyák sevasva bheṣajáṃ jarádaṣṭiṃ kr̥ṇomi tvā ||5||
Что твоя мать, что твой отец,
Сестра и брат нальют (тебе),
Прими лекарство наоборот!
Я делаю тебя достигающим старости!
Accept the healing medicine, the balm thy mother and thy sire,
Thy sister and thy brother bring. I make thee live through
lengthened years.
Fight shy of the medicine which thy mother and thy father, thy sister and thy brother let out against thee: I shall cause thee to live unto old age!
avś_05.030.06.
इहै॒धि पुरुष स॒र्वेण म॒नसा सह॒ ।
दूतौ॒ यम॒स्य मा॒नु गा अ॒धि जीवपुरा॒ इहि ॥६॥
iháidhi puruṣa sárveṇa mánasā sahá |
dūtáu yamásya mā́nu gā ádhi jīvapurā́ ihi ||6||
Оставайся здесь, о человек,
Вместе со всем (своим) разумом!
Не следуй за двумя вестниками Ямы! Отправляйся в крепости живых!
O man, stay here among us; stay with all thy spirit: follow not
Yama's two messengers. Approach the castles where the living
dwell.
Remain here, O man, with thy entire soul; do not follow the two messengers of Yama: come to the abodes of the living!
avś_05.030.07.
अ॒नुहूतः पु॒नर् ए॒हि विद्वा॒न् उद॒यनं पथः॒ ।
आरो॒हणम् आक्र॒मणं जी॒वतोजीवतो॒ ऽयनम् ॥७॥
ánuhūtaḥ púnar éhi vidvā́n udáyanaṃ patháḥ |
āróhaṇam ākrámaṇaṃ jī́vatojīvató 'yanam ||7||
Когда (тебя) потом позовут, снова вернись,
Зная восхождение пути,
Подъем, карабканье,
Движение каждого живого существа.
Come back as thou art called to come, knowing the outlet of
the path,
And the Approach and its ascent, the way of every living man.
Return when called, knowing the outlet of the path (death), the ascent, the advance, the road of every living man!
avś_05.030.08.
मा॒ बिभेर् न॒ मरिष्यसि जर॒दष्टिं कृणोमि त्वा ।
नि॒र् अवोचम् अहं॒ य॒क्ष्मम् अ॒ङ्गेभ्यो अङ्गज्वरं॒ त॒व ॥८॥
mā́ bibher ná mariṣyasi jarádaṣṭiṃ kr̥ṇomi tvā |
nír avocam aháṃ yákṣmam áṅgebhyo aṅgajvaráṃ táva ||8||
Не бойся - ты не умрешь!
Я делаю тебя достигающим старости!
Я заговорил якшму,
Разрушающую члены, из членов твоих.
Be not alarmed: thou wilt not die. I give thee lengthened years
of life.
Forth from thy members have I charmed Decline that caused
the fever there.
Fear not, thou shalt not die: I shall cause thee to live unto old age! I have charmed away from thy limbs the disease that wastes the limbs.
avś_05.030.09.
अङ्गभेदो॒ अङ्गज्वरो॒ य॒श् च ते हृदयामयः॒ ।
य॒क्ष्मः श्येन॒ इव प्रा॒पप्तद् वचा॒ साढः॒ परस्तरा॒म् ॥९॥
aṅgabhedó aṅgajvaró yáś ca te hr̥dayāmayáḥ |
yákṣmaḥ śyená iva prā́paptad vacā́ sāḍháḥ parastarā́m ||9||
Раскалывающая члены, разрушающая члены
И болезнь сердца, что у тебя,
Якшма улетела далеко прочь, словно сокол, В дальнюю даль, осиленная речью (моей).
Gone is the pain that racked thee, gone thy fever, gone thy
heart's disease.
Consumption, conquered by my voice, hath, like a hawk, fled
far away.
The disease that racks and wastes thy limbs, and the sickness in thy heart, has flown as an eagle to a far distance, overcome by my charm.
avś_05.030.10.
ऋ॒षी बोधप्रतीबोधा॒व् अस्वप्नो॒ य॒श् च जा॒गृविः ।
तौ॒ ते प्राण॒स्य गोप्ता॒रौ दि॒वा न॒क्तं च जागृताम् ॥१०॥
ŕ̥ṣī bodhapratībodhā́v asvapnó yáś ca jā́gr̥viḥ |
táu te prāṇásya goptā́rau dívā náktaṃ ca jāgr̥tām ||10||
Двое риши: бдительный-и-бодрствующий,
Бессонный и (тот), что чуток, -
Они, хранители твоего дыхания, Бодрствуют днем и ночью!
Two sages, Sense and Vigilance, the sleepless and the watchful
one,
These, the protectors of thy life, shall be awake both day and
night.
The two sages Alert and Watchful, the sleepless and the vigilant, these two guardians of thy life's breath, are awake both day and night.
avś_05.030.11.
अय॒म् अग्नि॒र् उपस॒द्य इह॒ सू॒र्य उ॒द् एतु ते ।
उदे॒हि मृत्यो॒र् गम्भीरा॒त् कृष्णा॒च् चित् त॒मसस् प॒रि ॥११॥
ayám agnír upasádya ihá sū́rya úd etu te |
udéhi mr̥tyór gambhīrā́t kr̥ṣṇā́c cit támasas pári ||11||
Этого Агни надо почитать.
Пусть взойдет здесь солнце для тебя! Поднимись из глубокого Совсем черного мрака смерти!
This Agni must be waited on. Here let the Sun mount up for
thee.
Rise from deep death and come away, yea, from black darkness
rise thou up!
Agni here is to be revered; the sun shall rise here for thee: rise thou from deep death, yea from black darkness!
avś_05.030.12.
न॒मो यमा॒य न॒मो अस्तु मृत्य॒वे न॒मः पितृ॒भ्य उत॒ ये॒ न॒यन्ति ।
उत्पा॒रणस्य यो॒ वे॒द त॒म् अग्निं॒ पुरो॒ दधे ऽस्मा॒ अरिष्ट॒तातये ॥१२॥
námo yamā́ya námo astu mr̥tyáve námaḥ pitŕ̥bhya utá yé náyanti |
utpā́raṇasya yó véda tám agníṃ puró dadhe 'smā́ ariṣṭátātaye ||12||
Поклон Яме, да будет поклон Смерти,
Поклон отцам, а также (тем), которые уводят.
Этого Агни, который умеет спасать,
Я ставлю впереди,
Чтоб (человек) этот был невредим.
Homage be paid to Yama, to Mrityu, and to the Fathers, and to
those who guide us!
I honour first, for this man's preservation, that Agni who well
knoweth how to save him.
Reverence be to Yama, reverence to death; reverence to the Fathers and to those that lead (to them) [death's messengers?]! That Agni who knows the way to save do I engage for this man, that he be exempt from harm!
avś_05.030.13.
ऐ॒तु प्राण॒ ऐ॒तु म॒न ऐ॒तु च॒क्षुर् अ॒थो ब॒लम् ।
श॒रीरम् अस्य स॒म् विदां त॒त् पद्भ्यां॒ प्र॒ति तिष्ठतु ॥१३॥
áitu prāṇá áitu mána áitu cákṣur átho bálam |
śárīram asya sám vidāṃ tát padbhyā́ṃ práti tiṣṭhatu ||13||
Пусть придет дыхание, пусть придет разум,
Пусть придет зрение, затем сила!
Пусть сложится его тело!
Пусть оно твердо стоит на двух ногах!
Let breath and mind return to him, let sight and vigour come
again
Let all his body be restored and firmly stand upon its feet.
His breath shall come, his soul shall come, his sight shall come, and, too, his strength! His body shall collect itself: then shall he stand firm upon his feet!
avś_05.030.14.
प्राणे॒नाग्ने च॒क्षुषा सं॒ सृजेमं॒ स॒म् ईरय तन्वा॑ सं॒ ब॒लेन ।
वे॒त्थामृ॒तस्य मा॒ नु॒ गान् मा॒ नु॒ भू॒मिगृहो भुवत् ॥१४॥
prāṇénāgne cákṣuṣā sáṃ sr̥jemáṃ sám īraya tanvā̀ sáṃ bálena |
vétthāmŕ̥tasya mā́ nú gān mā́ nú bhū́migr̥ho bhuvat ||14||
С дыханием, о Агни, со зрением соедини его!
Снабди телом, силой!
Ты знаешь толк в бессмертии - пусть не уйдет он сейчас! Да не станет он сейчас тем, чей дом - земля!
Provide this man with breath and sight, O Agni, and with his
body and his strength unite him.
Thou knowest Amrit: let him not go hence, nor dwell in house
of clay.
Unite him, Agni, with breath and sight, provide him with a body and with strength! Thou hast a knowledge of immortality: let him not now depart, let him not now become a dweller in a house of clay!
avś_05.030.15.
मा॒ ते प्राण॒ उ॒प दसन् मो॒ अपानो॒ ऽपि धायि ते ।
सू॒र्यस् त्वा॒धिपतिर् मृत्यो॒र् उदा॒यछतु रश्मि॒भिः ॥१५॥
mā́ te prāṇá úpa dasan mó apānó 'pi dhāyi te |
sū́ryas tvā́dhipatir mr̥tyór udā́yachatu raśmíbhiḥ ||15||
Да не иссякнет твой выдох! Да не закроется твой вдох! Пусть солнце, верховный владыка, Вытащит тебя лучами из смерти!
Let not thine inward breathing fail, let not thine outward breath
be lost.
Let Sūrya who is Lord Supreme raise thee from death with
beams of light.
Thy in-breathing shall not cease, thy outbreathing shall not vanish; Sūrya (the sun), the supreme lord, shall raise thee from death with his rays!
avś_05.030.16.
इय॒म् अन्त॒र् वदति जिह्वा॒ बद्धा॒ पनिष्पदा॒ ।
त्व॒या य॒क्ष्मम् नि॒र् अवोचं शतं॒ रो॒पीश् च तक्म॒नः ॥१६॥
iyám antár vadati jihvā́ baddhā́ paniṣpadā́ |
tváyā yákṣmam nír avocaṃ śatáṃ rópīś ca takmánaḥ ||16||
Вещает внутри этот язык, Связанный, трепещущий.
С его помощью я заговорил якшму И сотню режущих болей такмана.
Tied, tremulously moving, here the tongue is speaking in the
mouth.
With thee I charmed Decline away and Fever's hundred ago-
nies.
This tongue (of mine), bound (in the mouth, yet) mobile, speaks within: with it I have charmed away disease, and the hundred torments of the takman (fever).
avś_05.030.17.
अयं॒ लोकः॒ प्रिय॒तमो देवा॒नाम् अ॒पराजितः ।
य॒स्मै त्व॒म् इह॒ मृत्य॒वे दिष्टः॒ पुरुष जज्ञिषे॒ ।
स॒ च त्वा॒नु ह्वयामसि मा॒ पुरा॒ जर॒सो मृथाः ॥१७॥
ayáṃ lokáḥ priyátamo devā́nām áparājitaḥ |
yásmai tvám ihá mr̥tyáve diṣṭáḥ puruṣa jajñiṣé |
sá ca tvā́nu hvayāmasi mā́ purā́ jaráso mr̥thāḥ ||17||
Этот мир самый любимый
У богов, непобежденный.
Для какой смерти здесь
Предназначенный, человек, ты родился,
Она и мы кричим вслед тебе:
"Не умирай раньше старости!"
This living world, unconquered of the Gods, is most beloved of
all.
To whatsoever death thou wast destined when thou wast born,.
O man,
This death and we call after thee. Die not before decrepit age!
This world is most dear to the gods, unconquered. For whatever death thou wast destined when thou wast born, O man, that (death) and we call after thee: do not die before old age!
