य॒था वृक्षं॒ लि॒बुजा समन्तं॒ परिषस्वजे॒ ।
एवा॒ प॒रि ष्वजस्व मां॒ य॒था मां॒ कामि॒न्य् अ॒सो य॒था म॒न् ना॒पगा अ॒सः ॥१॥
yáthā vr̥kṣáṃ líbujā samantáṃ pariṣasvajé |
evā́ pári ṣvajasva mā́ṃ yáthā mā́ṃ kāmíny áso yáthā mán nā́pagā ásaḥ ||1||
Как лиана дерево Целиком обвила вокруг, Так и ты меня обними - Чтобы стала ты меня любящей, Чтоб не стала ты избегать меня!
Like as the creeper throws, her arms on every side around the
tree,
So hold thou me in thine embrace that thou mayst be in love
with me, my darling, never to depart.
As the creeper embraces the tree on all sides, thus do thou embrace me, so that thou, woman, shalt love me, so that thou shalt not be averse to me!

य॒था सुपर्णः॒ प्रप॒तन् पक्षौ॒ निह॒न्ति भू॒म्याम् ।
एवा॒ नि॒ हन्मि ते म॒नो य॒था मां॒ कामि॒न्य् अ॒सो य॒था म॒न् ना॒पगा अ॒सः ॥२॥
yáthā suparṇáḥ prapátan pakṣáu nihánti bhū́myām |
evā́ ní hanmi te máno yáthā mā́ṃ kāmíny áso yáthā mán nā́pagā ásaḥ ||2||
Как орел, пролетая, Прибивает крыльями землю, Так и я прибиваю мысль твою - Чтобы стала ты меня любящей, Чтоб не стала ты избегать меня!
As, when he mounts, the eagle strikes his pinions downward on
the earth,
So do I strike thy spirit down that thou mayst be in love with
me, my darling, never to depart.
As the eagle when he flies forth presses his wings against the earth, thus do I fasten down thy mind, so that thou, woman, shalt love me, so that thou shalt not be averse to me.

य॒थेमे॒ द्या॒वापृथिवी॒ सद्यः॒ पर्ये॒ति सू॒र्यः ।
एवा॒ प॒र्य् एमि ते म॒नो य॒था मां॒ कामि॒न्य् अ॒सो य॒था म॒न् ना॒पगा अ॒सः ॥३॥
yáthemé dyā́vāpr̥thivī́ sadyáḥ paryéti sū́ryaḥ |
evā́ páry emi te máno yáthā mā́ṃ kāmíny áso yáthā mán nā́pagā ásaḥ ||3||
Как этих небо-и-землю Враз обходит солнце,
Так и я обхожу мысль твою - Чтобы стала ты меня любящей, Чтоб не стала ты избегать меня!
As in his rapid course the Sun encompasses the heaven and:
earth,
So do I compass round thy mind that thou mayst be in love with.
me, my darling, never to depart.
As the sun day by day goes about this heaven and earth, thus do I go about thy mind, so that thou, woman, shalt love me, so that thou shalt not be: averse to me.
