हिम॒वतः प्र॒ स्रवन्ति सि॒न्धौ समह सङ्गमः॒ ।
आ॒पो ह म॒ह्यं त॒द् देवी॒र् द॒दन् हृद्द्यो॒तभेषज॒म् ॥१॥

himávataḥ prá sravanti síndhau samaha saṅgamáḥ |
ā́po ha máhyaṃ tád devī́r dádan hr̥ddyótabheṣajám ||1||

Они текут вперед со снежной (горы). Место (их) встречи где-то в Синдху. Так пусть божественные воды даруют Мне исцеление от жжения в сердце!

Forth from the Hills of Snow they stream, and meet in Sindhu
here or there.
To me the sacred Waters gave the balm that heals the heart's
disease.

From the Himavant (mountains) they flow forth, in the Sindhu (Indus), forsooth, is their assembling-place: may the waters, indeed, grant me that cure for heart-ache!

avś_06.024.02.

य॒न् मे अक्ष्यो॒र् आदिद्यो॒त पा॒र्ष्ण्योः प्र॒पदोश् च य॒त् ।
आ॒पस् त॒त् स॒र्वं नि॒ष् करन् भिष॒जां सु॒भिषक्तमाः ॥२॥

yán me akṣyór ādidyóta pā́rṣṇyoḥ prápadoś ca yát |
ā́pas tát sárvaṃ níṣ karan bhiṣájāṃ súbhiṣaktamāḥ ||2||

Что жгло у меня в глазах,
Что в пятках и в передней части ног, Все это пусть изгонят воды - Самые целебные из целителей!

Whatever rupture I have had that injured eyes or heels or toes.
All this the Waters, skilfullest physicians, shall make well again,

The pain that hurts me in the eyes, and that which hurts in the heels and the fore-feet, the waters, the most skilled of physicians, shall put all that to rights!

avś_06.024.03.

सिन्धुपत्नीः सि॒न्धुराज्ञीः स॒र्वा या॒ नद्य॑ स्थ॒न ।
दत्त॒ नस् त॒स्य भेषजं॒ ते॒ना वो भुनजामहै ॥३॥

sindhupatnīḥ síndhurājñīḥ sárvā yā́ nadyà sthána |
dattá nas tásya bheṣajáṃ ténā vo bhunajāmahai ||3||

С Синдху-повелительницей, с Синдху-царицей,
О вы, все реки, которые есть,
Дайте нам исцеление от этого!
Для этого мы хотим воспользоваться вами.

All Rivers who have Sindhu for your Lady, Sindhu for your
Queen,
Give us the balm that heals this ill: this boon let us enjoy from
you.

Ye rivers all, whose mistress is Sindhu, whose queen is Sindhu, grant us the remedy for that: through this (remedy) may we derive benefit from you!
