वृ॒षे॒न्द्रस्य वृ॒षा दिवो॒ वृ॒सा पृथिव्या॒ अय॒म् ।
वृ॒षा वि॒श्वस्य भूत॒स्य त्व॒म् एकवृषो॒ भव ॥१॥

vŕ̥ṣéndrasya vŕ̥ṣā divó vŕ̥sā pr̥thivyā́ ayám |
vŕ̥ṣā víśvasya bhūtásya tvám ekavr̥ṣó bhava ||1||

Вождь Индры, вождь неба,
Вождь земли - этот (человек),
Вождь всего сущего.
Стань ты единственным вождем!

This is the Lord of Indra, this the Lord of Heaven, the Lord of
Earth,
The Lord of all existing things: the one and only Lord be thou,

समुद्र॒ ईशे स्रव॒ताम् अग्निः॒ पृथिव्या॒ वशी॒ ।
चन्द्र॒मा न॒क्षत्राणाम् ईशे त्व॒म् एकवृषो॒ भव ॥२॥

samudrá īśe sravátām agníḥ pr̥thivyā́ vaśī́ |
candrámā nákṣatrāṇām īśe tvám ekavr̥ṣó bhava ||2||

Океан повелевает потоками, Агни - владыка земли, Луна повелевает созвездиями. Стань ты единственным вождем!

The Sea is regent of the floods, Agni is ruler of the land,
The Moon is regent of the stars: the one and only Lord be
thou.

सम्रा॒ड् अस्य् अ॒सुराणां ककु॒न् मनुष्या॑नाम् ।
देवा॒नाम् अर्धभा॒ग् असि त्व॒म् एकवृषो॒ भव ॥३॥

samrā́ḍ asy ásurāṇāṃ kakún manuṣyā̀nām |
devā́nām ardhabhā́g asi tvám ekavr̥ṣó bhava ||3||

Ты самодержец асуров, Вершина людей,
Ты участник (доли) богов. Стань ты единственным вождем!

Thou art the King of Asuras, the crown and summit of man-
kind:
Thou art the partner of the Gods: the one and only Lord be
thou.
