आ॒यने ते परा॒यने दू॒र्वा रोहन्तु पुष्पि॒णीः ।
उ॒त्सो वा त॒त्र जा॒यताम् ह्रदो॒ वा पुण्ड॒रीकवान् ॥१॥

ā́yane te parā́yane dū́rvā rohantu puṣpíṇīḥ |
útso vā tátra jā́yatām hradó vā puṇḍárīkavān ||1||

(На пути) твоего прихода, (на пути) ухода
Пусть вырастут дурвы цветущие,
Или источник возникнет там, Или пруд, полный лотосов!

Let flowery Dūrvā grass grow up about thine exit and
approach.
There let a spring of water rise, or lake with blooming lotuses.

Where thou comest, (O fire), and where thou goest away, the blooming dūrvā-plant shall grow: a well-spring there shall rise up, or a lotus-laden pool!

avś_06.106.02.

अपा॒म् इदं॒ न्य॒यनं समुद्र॒स्य निवे॒शनम् ।
म॒ध्ये ह्रद॒स्य नो गृहाः॒ पराची॒ना मु॒खा कृधि ॥२॥

apā́m idáṃ nyáyanaṃ samudrásya nivéśanam |
mádhye hradásya no gr̥hā́ḥ parācī́nā múkhā kr̥dhi ||2||

Это доступ к воде, Выход к морю. Посреди пруда наш дом - Отврати (свои) лица!

This is the place where waters meet, here is the gathering of the
flood.
Our home is set amid the lake: turn thou thy jaws away from
it.

Here (shall be) the gathering place of the waters, here the dwelling-place of the sea! In the midst of a pond our house shall be: turn, (O fire), away thy jaws!

avś_06.106.03.

हिम॒स्य त्वा जरा॒युणा शा॒ले प॒रि व्ययामसि ।
शीत॒ह्रदा हि॒ नो भु॒वो ऽग्नि॒ष् कृणोतु भेषज॒म् ॥३॥

himásya tvā jarā́yuṇā śā́le pári vyayāmasi |
śītáhradā hí no bhúvo 'gníṣ kr̥ṇotu bheṣajám ||3||

Оболочкой из снега, о дом, Мы окружаем тебя.
Будь же для нас прохладным прудом! Агни пусть создаст средство!

O House, we compass thee about with coolness to envelop thee.
Cool as a lake be thou to us. Let Agni bring us healing balm!

With a covering of coolness do we envelop thee, O house; cool as a pond be thou for us! Agni shall furnish the remedy!
