avś_06.114.01.

य॒द् देवा देवहे॒डनं दे॒वासश् चकृम वय॒म् ।
आ॒दित्यास् त॒स्मान् नो युय॒म् ऋत॒स्य ऋते॒न मुञ्चत ॥१॥

yád devā devahéḍanaṃ dévāsaś cakr̥ma vayám |
ā́dityās tásmān no yuyám r̥tásya r̥téna muñcata ||1||

О боги, какое бы оскорбление богов
Мы, о боги, ни совершили,
Вы, о Адитьи, нас от него Освободите законом закона!

Whatever God-provoking wrong we priests have done, O
Deities.
Therefrom do ye deliver us, Ādityas! by the right of Law.

The god-angering (deed), O ye gods, that we, the (Brahman) gods, have committed, from that do ye, O Ādityas, release us, by virtue of the order of the universe!

avś_06.114.02.

ऋत॒स्य ऋते॒नादित्या य॒जत्रा मुञ्च॒तेह॒ नः ।
यज्ञं॒ य॒द् यज्ञवाहसः शिक्षन्तो नो॒पशेकिम॒ ॥२॥

r̥tásya r̥ténādityā yájatrā muñcátehá naḥ |
yajñáṃ yád yajñavāhasaḥ śikṣanto nópaśekimá ||2||

Законом закона, о Адитьи, Достойные жертв, освободите нас здесь, Когда, о принимающие жертвы, Стремясь принести жертву, мы не сумели!

Here set us free, O holy ones, Ādityas, by the right of Law.
When striving, bringing sacrifice, we failed to offer it aright.

By virtue of the order of the universe do ye, O reverend Ādityas, release us here, if, O ye carriers of the sacrifice, though desirous of accomplishing (the sacrifice), we did not accomplish (it)! —

avś_06.114.03.

मे॒दस्वता य॒जमानाः स्रुचा॒ज्यानि जु॒ह्वतः ।
अकामा॒ विश्वे वो देवाः शि॒क्षन्तो नो॒प शेकिम ॥३॥

médasvatā yájamānāḥ srucā́jyāni júhvataḥ |
akāmā́ viśve vo devāḥ śíkṣanto nópa śekima ||3||

Принося в жертву жирное, Возливая ложкой масло,
(Но) без порыва к вам, о все боги, Стремясь (принести жертву), мы не сумели!

With ladle full of fatness we, worshippers, pouring holy oil,
Striving, have failed, O all ye Gods, against our will, to offer it.

(If), when sacrificing with the fat (animal), when offering oblations of ghee with the spoon, when desiring to benefit you, O all ye gods, we have contrary to desire, not succeeded!
