नि॒ शीर्षतो॒ नि॒ पत्तत॒ आध्यो॑ नि॒ तिरामि ते ।
दे॒वाः प्र॒ हिणुत स्मर॒म् असौ॒ मा॒म् अ॒नु शोचतु ॥१॥

ní śīrṣató ní pattatá ādhyò ní tirāmi te |
dévāḥ prá hiṇuta smarám asáu mā́m ánu śocatu ||1||

Из головы, из ног
Я швыряю вниз твои страстные устремления. О боги, пошлите любовь! Пусть он воспылает ко мне!

Down upon thee, from head to foot, I draw the pangs of long-
ing love.
Send forth the charm, ye Deities! Let him consume with love
of me.

From thy head unto thy feet do I implant (love's) longing into thee. Ye gods, send forth the yearning love: may yonder man burn after me!

avś_06.131.02.

अ॒नुमते ऽन्व् इदं॒ मन्यस्वा॒कुते स॒म् इदं॒ न॒मः ।
दे॒वाः प्र॒ हिणुत स्मर॒म् असौ॒ मा॒म् अ॒नु शोचतु ॥२॥

ánumate 'nv idáṃ manyasvā́kute sám idáṃ námaḥ |
dévāḥ prá hiṇuta smarám asáu mā́m ánu śocatu ||2||

О Анумати, согласись на это!
О Акути, пусть ты вынудишь на это! О боги, пошлите любовь! Пусть он воспылает ко мне!

Assent to this, O Heavenly Grace! Celestial Purpose, guide it
well!
Send forth the charm, ye Deities! Let him consume with love
of me.

Favour this (plan), Anumati; fit it tooether, Ākūti! Ye gods, send forth the yearning love may yonder man burn after me!

avś_06.131.03.

य॒द् धा॒वसि त्रियोजनं॒ पञ्चयोजन॒म् आ॒श्विनम् ।
त॒तस् त्वं॒ पु॒नर् आ॒यसि पुत्रा॒णां नो असः पिता॒ ॥३॥

yád dhā́vasi triyojanáṃ pañcayojanám ā́śvinam |
tátas tváṃ púnar ā́yasi putrā́ṇāṃ no asaḥ pitā́ ||3||

Если ты убежишь за три йоджаны,
За пять йоджан, за день пути всадника, Ты вернешься оттуда назад, Ты будешь отцом наших детей!

If thou shouldst run three leagues away, five leagues, a horse's
daily stage,
Thence thou shalt come to me again and be the father of our
sons.

If thou dost run three leagues away, (or even) five leagues, the distance coursed by a horseman, from there thou shalt again return, shalt be the father of our sons!
