उ॒च् छ्रयस्व बहु॒र् भव स्वे॒न म॒हसा यव ।
मृणीहि॒ वि॒श्वा पा॒त्राणि मा॒ त्वा दिव्या॒श॒निर् वधीत् ॥१॥

úc chrayasva bahúr bhava svéna máhasā yava |
mr̥ṇīhí víśvā pā́trāṇi mā́ tvā divyā́śánir vadhīt ||1||

Поднимись! Стань обильным
Своей мощью, о ячмень!
Разбей все сосуды!
Да не поразит тебя удар грома с неба!

Spring high, O Barley, and become much through thine own
magnificence:
Burst all the vessels; let the bolt from heaven forbear to strike
thee down.

Raise thyself up, grow thick by thy own might, O grain! Burst every vessel! The lightning in the heavens shall not destroy thee!

avś_06.142.02.

आशृण्व॒न्तं य॒वं देवं॒ य॒त्र त्वाछाव॒दामसि ।
त॒द् उ॒च् छ्रयस्व द्यौ॒र् इव समुद्र॒ इवैध्य् अ॒क्षितः ॥२॥

āśr̥ṇvántaṃ yávaṃ deváṃ yátra tvāchāvádāmasi |
tád úc chrayasva dyáur iva samudrá ivaidhy ákṣitaḥ ||2||

Где мы призываем тебя, Внемлющего бога-ячменя, Поднимись там, как небо! Будь неисчерпаем, как океан!

As we invite and call to thee, Barley, a God who heareth us,
Raise thyself up like heaven on high and be exhaustless as the
sea.

When we invoke thee, god grain, and thou dost listen, then do thou raise thyself up like the sky, be inexhaustible as the sea!

avś_06.142.03.

अ॒क्षितास् त उपस॒दो॒ ऽक्षिताः सन्तु राश॒यः ।
पृण॒न्तो अ॒क्षिताः सन्त्व् अत्ता॒रः सन्त्व् अ॒क्षिताः ॥३॥

ákṣitās ta upasádó 'kṣitāḥ santu rāśáyaḥ |
pr̥ṇánto ákṣitāḥ santv attā́raḥ santv ákṣitāḥ ||3||

Неисчерпаемы пусть будут твои почитатели, Неисчерпаемы - (твои) груды! Дарующие пусть будут неисчерпаемы! Едоки пусть будут неисчерпаемы!

Exhaustless let thine out-turns be, exhaustless be thy gathered
heaps,
Exhaustless be thy givers, and exhaustless those who eat of
thee.

Inexhaustible shall be those that attend to thee, inexhaustible thy heaps! Theywhogivethee as a present shall be inexhaustible, they who eat thee shall be inexhaustible!
