अभि॒ त्वा म॒नुजातेन द॒धामि म॒म वा॒ससा ।
या॒था॒ ऽसो म॒म के॒वलो ना॒न्या॒सां कीर्त॒याश् चन॒ ॥१॥

abhí tvā mánujātena dádhāmi máma vā́sasā |
yā́thā́ 'so máma kévalo nā́nyā́sāṃ kīrtáyāś caná ||1||

Тебя я окутываю Своей одеждой, порожденной Ману, Чтобы был ты только мой, И других (женщин) ты даже не поминай!

With this my robe, inherited from Manu, I envelop thee,
So that thou mayst be all mine own and give no thought to other
dames.

I envelope thee in my garment that was produced by Manu (the first man), that thou shalt be mine alone, shalt not even discourse of other women!
