अमुत्रभू॒याद् अ॒धि य॒द् यम॒स्य बृ॒हस्पते अभि॒शस्तेर् अ॒मुञ्चः ।
प्र॒त्य् औहताम् अश्वि॒ना मृत्यु॒म् अस्म॒द् देवा॒नाम् अग्ने भिष॒जा श॒चीभिः ॥१॥
amutrabhū́yād ádhi yád yamásya bŕ̥haspate abhíśaster ámuñcaḥ |
práty auhatām aśvínā mr̥tyúm asmád devā́nām agne bhiṣájā śácībhiḥ ||1||
Когда от пребывания там, у Ямы,
Ты освободил (нас), о Брихаспати, от проклятия,
Ашвины сняли с нас смерть,
О Агни, (эти) целители богов, (своими) силами.
As thou, Brihaspati, from the curse hast saved us, from dwel-
ling yonder in the realm of Yama,
The Asvins, leeches of the Gods, O Agni, have chased Death
far from us with mighty powers.
When, O Brihaspati, thou didst liberate (us) from existence in yonder world of Yama, (and) from hostile schemes, then did the Asvins, the physicians of the gods, with might sweep death from us, O Agni!
avś_07.053.02.
सं॒ क्रामतं मा॒ जहीतं श॒रीरं प्राणापानौ॒ ते सयु॒जाव् इह॒ स्ताम् ।
शतं॒ जीव शर॒दो व॒र्धमानो ऽग्नि॒ष् टे गोपा॒ अधिपा॒ व॒सिष्ठः ॥२॥
sáṃ krāmataṃ mā́ jahītaṃ śárīraṃ prāṇāpānáu te sayújāv ihá stām |
śatáṃ jīva śarádo várdhamāno 'gníṣ ṭe gopā́ adhipā́ vásiṣṭhaḥ ||2||
Вступите двое вы вместе! Не покидайте тело!
Пусть вдох-и-выдох будут у тебя здесь союзниками!
Живи сто осеней, укрепляясь!
(Да будет) Агни тебе лучшим пастухом, повелителем!
Move both together; do not leave the body. Let both the
breathings stay for thee united.
Waxing in strength live thou a hundred autumns. Thy noblest
guardian and thy lord is Agni.
O in-breathing and out-breathing, go along with the body, do not leave it: may they be thy allies here! Live and thrive a hundred autumns; Agni shall be thy most excellent shepherd and overseer!
avś_07.053.03.
आ॒युर् य॒त् ते अ॒तिहितं पराचै॒र् अपानः॒ प्राणः॒ पु॒नर् आ॒ ता॒व् इताम् ।
अग्नि॒ष् ट॒द् आ॒हार् नि॒रृतेर् उप॒स्थात् त॒द् आत्म॒नि पु॒नर् आ॒ वेशयामि ते ॥३॥
ā́yur yát te átihitaṃ parācáir apānáḥ prāṇáḥ púnar ā́ tā́v itām |
agníṣ ṭád ā́hār nírr̥ter upásthāt tád ātmáni púnar ā́ veśayāmi te ||3||
Срок жизни у тебя, что был убран далеко, -
Пусть эти выдох и вдох снова вернутся!
Агни забрал это из лона Гибели.
Я снова ввожу его в твое существо.
Return, thy life now vanished into distance! Return, the breath
thou drawest and exhalest!
Agni hath snatched it from Destruction's bosom: into thyself
again I introduce it.
Thy vital force that has been dissipated afar, thy in-breathing and thy out-breathing, shall come back again! Agni has snatched them from the lap of Nirriti (the goddess of destruction), and I again introduce them into thy person.
avś_07.053.04.
मे॒मं॒ प्राणो॒ हासीन् मो॒ अपानो॒ ऽवहा॒य प॒रा गात् ।
सप्तर्षि॒भ्य एनं प॒रि ददामि ते॒ एनं स्वस्ति॒ जर॒से वहन्तु ॥४॥
mémáṃ prāṇó hāsīn mó apānó 'vahā́ya párā gāt |
saptarṣíbhya enaṃ pári dadāmi té enaṃ svastí jaráse vahantu ||4||
Да не покинет его вдох!
Да не уйдет прочь выдох, оставив (его)!
Я передаю его Семерым Риши.
Пусть довезут они его благополучно до старости!
Let not the vital breath he draws forsake him, let not his
expiration part and leave him.
I give him over to the Seven Rishis: let them conduct him to
old age in safety.
Let not his in-breathing desert him, nor his out-breathing quit him and depart! I commit him to the Seven Rishis: may they convey him in health to old age!
avś_07.053.05.
प्र॒ विषतं प्राणापानाव् अनड्वा॒हाव् इव व्रज॒म् ।
अयं॒ जरिम्नः॒ शेवधि॒र् अ॒रिष्ट इह॒ वर्धताम् ॥५॥
prá viṣataṃ prāṇāpānāv anaḍvā́hāv iva vrajám |
ayáṃ jarimnáḥ śevadhír áriṣṭa ihá vardhatām ||5||
Войдите, о вдох-и-выдох,
Как два тягловых быка в стойло!
Пусть этот (человек), сокровищница старости,
Усилится здесь, невредимый!
Enter him, both ye breaths, like two draught-oxen entering their
stall.
Let him, the treasure of old age, still wax in strength, uninjured,.
here.
Enter, O in-breathing and out-breathing, like two bulls into a stable: this person shall here flourish, an unmolested repository for old age!
avś_07.053.06.
आ॒ ते प्राणं॒ सुवामसि प॒रा य॒क्ष्मं सुवामि ते ।
आ॒युर् नो विश्व॒तो दधद् अय॒म् अग्नि॒र् व॒रेण्यः ॥६॥
ā́ te prāṇáṃ suvāmasi párā yákṣmaṃ suvāmi te |
ā́yur no viśváto dadhad ayám agnír váreṇyaḥ ||6||
Мы приводим твой вдох,
Я увожу твою якшму.
Пусть этот Агни желанный
Обеспечит нас жизненным сроком со всех сторон!
I send thee back thy vital breath; I drive Consumption far from
thee,
May Agni here, most excellent, sustain our life on every side.
Life's breath we do drive into thee, disease we do drive away from thee. May this excellent Agni endow us with life from every source!
avś_07.053.07.
उ॒द् वयं॒ त॒मसस् प॒रि रो॒हन्तो ना॒कम् उत्तम॒म् ।
देवं॒ देवत्रा॒ सू॒र्यम् अ॒गन्म ज्यो॒तिर् उत्तम॒म् ॥७॥
úd vayáṃ támasas pári róhanto nā́kam uttamám |
deváṃ devatrā́ sū́ryam áganma jyótir uttamám ||7||
Поднимаясь вверх из мрака
На высший небосвод,
К Сурье - богу среди богов - Мы отправились, к высшему свету.
From out the depth of darkness, we, ascending to the highest
heaven,
Have come to the sublimest light, to Sūrya, God among the.
Gods.
Ascending from the darkness of death to the highest firmament, to Sūrya (the sun), the god among gods, we have reached the highest light.
