य॒त् किं॒ चासौ॒ म॒नसा य॒च् च वाचा॒ यज्ञै॒र् जुहो॒ति हवि॒षा य॒जुषा ।
त॒न् मृत्यु॒ना नि॒रृतिः संविदाना॒ पुरा॒ सत्या॒द् आ॒हुतिं हन्त्व् अस्य ॥१॥

yát kíṃ cāsáu mánasā yác ca vācā́ yajñáir juhóti havíṣā yájuṣā |
tán mr̥tyúnā nírr̥tiḥ saṃvidānā́ purā́ satyā́d ā́hutiṃ hantv asya ||1||

Что бы ни жертвовал тот мыслью ли, Речью ли, жертвами, возлиянием, жертвенной формулой,
Гибель в согласии со Смертью пусть поразит Его приношение, пока оно не стало правдой!

Whatever sacrifice that man performeth with voice, mind, sacred
formula, oblation,
May, in accord with Death, Destruction ruin his offering before
it gain fulfilment.

Whenever yonder person in his thought, and with his speech, offers sacrifice accompanied by oblations and benedictions, may Nirriti (the goddess of destruction), allying herself with death, smite his offering before it takes effect!

avś_07.070.02.

यातुधा॒ना नि॒रृतिर् आ॒द् उ र॒क्षस् ते॒ अस्य घ्नन्त्व् अ॒नृतेन सत्य॒म् ।
इ॒न्द्रेषिता देवा॒ आ॒जम् अस्य मथ्नन्तु मा॒ त॒त् सं॒ पादि य॒द् असौ॒ जुहो॒ति ॥२॥

yātudhā́nā nírr̥tir ā́d u rákṣas té asya ghnantv ánr̥tena satyám |
índreṣitā devā́ ā́jam asya mathnantu mā́ tát sáṃ pādi yád asáu juhóti ||2||

Колдуны, сама Гибель, ракшас -
Пусть поразят они беззаконием его правду!
Боги, посланные Индрой, пусть возмутят его жертвенное масло!
Пусть не имеет успеха то, что тот жертвует!

For him may sorcerers, Destruction, demons strike and prevent
fulfilment through their falsehood.
Let Gods, by Indra sent, destroy his butter, and let his sacrifice
be ineffective.

May sorcerers, Nirriti, as well as Rakshas, mar his true work with error! May the gods, despatched by Indra, scatter (churn) his sacrificial butter; may that which yonder person offers not succeed!

avś_07.070.03.

अजिराधिराजौ॒ श्येनौ॒ संपाति॒नाव् इव ।
आ॒ज्यं पृतन्यतो॒ हतां यो॒ नः क॒श्चाभ्यघाय॒ति ॥३॥

ajirādhirājáu śyenáu saṃpātínāv iva |
ā́jyaṃ pr̥tanyató hatāṃ yó naḥ káścābhyaghāyáti ||3||

Два быстрых верховных владыки,
Летящих вместе, как два сокола,
Пусть поразят они жертвенное масло противника, Кто бы ни замышлял против нас!

Let the two Sovrans, swift to come, like falcons swooping on
their prey,
Destroy the butter of the foe whoever plots to injure us.

The two agile supreme rulers, like two eagle-s pouiicing down, shall strike the sacrificial butter pf the enemy, whosoever plans evil against us!

avś_07.070.04.

अ॒पाञ्चौ त उभौ॒ बाहू॒ अ॒पि नह्याम्य् आस्य॑म् ।
अग्ने॒र् देव॒स्य मन्यु॒ना ते॒न ते ऽवधिषं हविः॒ ॥४॥

ápāñcau ta ubháu bāhū́ ápi nahyāmy āsyàm |
agnér devásya manyúnā téna te 'vadhiṣaṃ havíḥ ||4||

Закручены назад обе руки твои.
Я завязываю (тебе) рот.
Яростью бога Агни -
Этим я уничтожил твое возлияние.

I seize thine arms and draw them back, I bind a bandage on thy
mouth.
I with the anger of the God Agni have killed thy sacrifice.

Back do I tie both thy two arms, thy mouth I shut. With the fury of god Agni, have I destroyed thy oblation.

avś_07.070.05.

अ॒पि नह्यामि ते बाहू॒ अ॒पि नह्याम्य् आस्य॑म् ।
अग्ने॒र् घोर॒स्य मन्यु॒ना ते॒न ऽवधिषं हविः॒ ॥५॥

ápi nahyāmi te bāhū́ ápi nahyāmy āsyàm |
agnér ghorásya manyúnā téna 'vadhiṣaṃ havíḥ ||5||

Я завязываю тебе руки.
Я завязываю (тебе) рот.
Яростью бога Агни -
Этим я уничтожил твое возлияние.

Behind thy back I tie thine arms, I bind a bandage on thy
mouth:
With the terrific Agni's wrath have I destroyed thy sacrifice.

I tie thy two arms, I shut thy mouth. With the fury of terrible Agni have I destroyed thy oblation.
