इ॒न्द्रस्य ना॒म गृह्ण॒न्त ऋ॒सयो जङ्गिदं॒ ददुः ।
देवा॒ यं॒ चक्रु॒र् भेषज॒म् अ॒ग्रे विष्कन्धदू॒षणम् ॥१॥

índrasya nā́ma gr̥hṇánta ŕ̥sayo jaṅgidáṃ daduḥ |
devā́ yáṃ cakrúr bheṣajám ágre viṣkandhadū́ṣaṇam ||1||

Зхватывая имя Индры,
Риши отдали джангиду,
Которую боги создали вначале
Как лекарство, портящее вишкандху.

While their lips uttered Indra's name the Rishis gave us Jangida..
Which in the earliest time Gods made a remedy, Vishkandha's-
cure.

While uttering Indra's name the seers bestowed (upon men) the gangida, which the gods in the beginning had made into a remedy, destructive of the vishkandha.

avś_19.035.02.

स॒ नो रक्षतु जङ्गिडो॒ धनपालो॒ ध॒नेव ।
देवा॒ यं॒ चक्रु॒र् ब्राह्मणाः॒ परिपा॒णम् अरातिह॒म् ॥२॥

sá no rakṣatu jaṅgiḍó dhanapāló dháneva |
devā́ yáṃ cakrúr brāhmaṇā́ḥ paripā́ṇam arātihám ||2||

Пусть эта джангида защищает нас,
Как хранитель богатств - богатства,
(Та), которую создали боги (и) брахманы
Как (нашего) хранителя повсюду, убийцу скупых!

So may this Jangida guard us, even as a treasurer guards wealth,.
Even this which Gods and Brāhmans made a malice-quelling sure
defence.

May that gangida protect us as a treasurer his treasures, he whom the gods and the Brāhmanas made into a refuge that puts to naught the hostile powers!

avś_19.035.03.

दुर्हा॒र्दः सं॒घोरं च॒क्षुः पापकृ॒त्वानम् आ॒गमम् ।
तां॒स् त्वं॒ सहस्रचक्षो प्रतीबोधे॒न नाशय परिपा॒णो ऽसि जङ्गिडः॒ ॥३॥

durhā́rdaḥ sáṃghoraṃ cákṣuḥ pāpakŕ̥tvānam ā́gamam |
tā́ṃs tváṃ sahasracakṣo pratībodhéna nāśaya paripā́ṇo 'si jaṅgiḍáḥ ||3||

Злосердечного, очень грозного вида явившегося творца зла -
Заставь ты их исчезнуть, о тысячеглазая,
С помощью (твоей) бдительности! Ты джангида, защищающая повсюду.

Hard-hearted men, the cruel eye, the sinner who hath come to-
us,
Destroy thou these with watchful care, O thou who hast a.
thousand eyes. Thou, Jangida, art my defence.

The evil eye of the hostile-minded, (and) the evil-doer I have approached. Do thou, O thousandeyed one, watchfully destroy these! A refuge art thou, O gangida.

avś_19.035.04.

प॒रि मा दिवः॒ प॒रि मा पृथिव्याः॒ प॒र्य् अन्त॒रिक्षात् प॒रि मा वीरु॒द्भ्यः ।
प॒रि मा भूता॒त् प॒रि मोत॒ भ॒व्याद् दिशो॒दिशो जङ्गिडः॒ पात्व् अस्मा॒न् ॥४॥

pári mā diváḥ pári mā pr̥thivyā́ḥ páry antárikṣāt pári mā vīrúdbhyaḥ |
pári mā bhūtā́t pári motá bhávyād diśódiśo jaṅgiḍáḥ pātv asmā́n ||4||

С неба меня, с земли меня,
Из воздушного пространства, из растений меня,
Из того, что было, меня, а также из того, что будет, меня -
Из каждой стороны света джангида пусть нас защитит!

Guard me from earth and guard me from the heavens, guard
me from middle air, from plants protect me.
Protect me from the present and the future. From every region
Jangida preserve us!

May the gangida protect me from heaven, protect me from earth, protect (me) from the atmosphere, protect me from the plants, protect me from the past, as well as the future; may he protect us from every direction of space!

avś_19.035.05.

य॒ ऋष्ण॒वो देव॒कृता य॒ उतो॒ ववृते॒ ऽन्यः॒ ।
स॒र्वां स्ता॒न् विश्व॒भेषजो ऽरसां॒ जङ्गिड॒स् करत् ॥५॥

yá r̥ṣṇávo devákr̥tā yá utó vavr̥té 'nyáḥ |
sárvāṃ stā́n viśvábheṣajo 'rasā́ṃ jaṅgiḍás karat ||5||

Какие колдуны (?) созданы богами,
А также какие происходят от людей (?) - Всех их всеисцеляющая джангида Пусть сделает лишенными сока!

All sorcerers made by the Gods, all that arise from mortal men,.
These, one and all, let Jangida, healer of all, make impotent.

The sorceries performed by the gods, and also those performed by men, may the all-healing gangida render them all devoid of strength!
