अ॒योजाला अ॒सुरा मायि॒नो ऽयस्म॒यैः पा॒शैर् अङ्कि॒नो ये॒ च॒रन्ति ।
तां॒स् ते रन्धयामि ह॒रसा जातवेदः सह॒स्रऋष्टिः सप॒त्नान् प्रमृण॒न् पाहि व॒ज्रः ॥१॥

áyojālā ásurā māyíno 'yasmáyaiḥ pā́śair aṅkíno yé cáranti |
tā́ṃs te randhayāmi hárasā jātavedaḥ sahásrar̥ṣṭiḥ sapátnān pramr̥ṇán pāhi vájraḥ ||1||

The Asuras with iron nets, magicians, who roam about with
hooks and bonds of iron,
With wrath I make thy thralls, O Jātavedas. Come as a bolt foe-
quelling, thousand pointed.
