Hither hath come a stallion:

स॒ इ॒छ॒कं स॒घाघते ॥१२॥
sá íchákaṃ sághāghate ||12||
he is known by droppings on his way,

स॒घाघते गो॒मीद्या॒ गो॒गतीर् इ॒ति ॥१३॥
sághāghate gómīdyā́ gógatīr íti ||13||
As by their dung the course of kine.

पु॒मां कुस्ते॒ नि॒मिछसि ॥१४॥
púmāṃ kusté nímichasi ||14||
What wouldst thou in the home of men?

प॒ल्प बद्ध व॒यो इ॒ति ॥१५॥
pálpa baddha váyo íti ||15||
Barley and ripened rice I seek.

ब॒द्ध वो अ॒घा इ॒ति ॥१६॥
báddha vo ághā íti ||16||
On rice and barley hast thou fed,

अ॒जागार के॒विका॒ ॥१७॥
ájāgāra kévikā́ ||17||
As the big serpent feeds on sheep.

अ॒श्वस्य वा॒रो गोशपद्यके॒ ॥१८॥
áśvasya vā́ro gośapadyaké ||18||
Cow's hoof and horse's tail hast thou,

श्ये॒नीप॒ती सा॒ ॥१९॥
śyénīpátī sā́ ||19||
Winged with a falcon's pinion

अनामयो॒पजिह्वि॒का ॥२०॥
anāmayópajihvíkā ||20||
is that harmless swelling of thy tongue.
