आ॒मिनोनिति॒ भद्यते ॥१॥

ā́minonití bhadyate ||1||

He minishes, he splits in twain:

त॒स्य अनु नि॒भञ्जनम् ॥२॥

tásya anu níbhañjanam ||2||

crush it and let it be destroyed.

avś_20.131.03.

व॒रुणो या॒ति व॒स्वभिः ॥३॥

váruṇo yā́ti vásvabhiḥ ||3||

Varuna with the Vasus goes:

avś_20.131.04.

शतं॒ वा भा॒रती श॒वः ॥४॥

śatáṃ vā bhā́ratī śávaḥ ||4||

the Wind-God hath a hundred reins.

avś_20.131.05.

शत॒माश्वा॒ हिरण्य॒याः ।
शतं॒ रथ्या॒ हिरण्य॒याः ।
शतं॒ कुथा॒ हिरण्य॒याः ।

śatámāśvā́ hiraṇyáyāḥ |
śatáṃ rathyā́ hiraṇyáyāḥ |
śatáṃ kuthā́ hiraṇyáyāḥ |

A hundred golden steeds hath he, a hundred chariots
wrought of gold.

अ॒हुल कुश वर्त्तक ॥६॥

áhula kuśa varttaka ||6||

Lover of Kusa grass, Unploughed!

शफे॒न इव॒ ओहते ॥७॥

śaphéna ivá ohate ||7||

Fat is not reckoned in
the hoof.

avś_20.131.08.

आ॒य वने॒नती ज॒नी ॥८॥

ā́ya vanénatī jánī ||8||

The ladle doth not hold apart

avś_20.131.09.

व॒निष्ठा ना॒व गृह्य॒न्ति ॥९॥

vániṣṭhā nā́va gr̥hyánti ||9||

the entrails and the clotted blood.

avś_20.131.10.

इदं॒ म॒ह्यं म॒दूरि॒ति ॥१०॥

idáṃ máhyaṃ mádūríti ||10||

This O Mandūrikā, is mine.

ते॒ वृक्षाः॒ सह॒ तिष्ठति ॥११॥

té vr̥kṣā́ḥ sahá tiṣṭhati ||11||

Thy trees are standing in a clump.

पा॒क बलिः॒ ॥१२॥

pā́ka balíḥ ||12||

The plain domestic sacrifice,

श॒क बलिः॒ ॥१३॥

śáka balíḥ ||13||

the sacrifice with burning dung.

अ॒श्वत्थ ख॒दिरो धवः॒ ॥१४॥

áśvattha khádiro dhaváḥ ||14||

Asvattha, Dhava, Khadira,

avś_20.131.15.

अ॒रदुपरम ॥१५॥

áraduparama ||15||

श॒यो हत॒ इव ॥१६॥

śáyo hatá iva ||16||

The man pervaded thoroughly lies

व्या॒प पू॒रुषः ॥१७॥

on the ground as he were slain.

अ॒दूहमित्यां॒ पू॒षकम् ॥१८॥

ádūhamityā́ṃ pū́ṣakam ||18||

The biestings only have they milked:

अ॒त्यर्धर्च॒ परस्व॒तः ॥१९॥

átyardharcá parasvátaḥ ||19||

one-and-a half of the wild ass,

दौ॒व हस्ति॒नो दृती॒ ॥२०॥

dáuva hastíno dr̥tī́ ||20||
