चि॒त्रं दे॒वाना॒मुद॑गा॒दनी॑कं॒ चक्षु॑र्मि॒त्रस्य॒ वरु॑णस्या॒ग्नेः। आप्रा॒ द्यावा॑पृथि॒वी अ॒न्तरि॑क्षं॒ सूर्य॑ आ॒त्मा जग॑तस्त॒स्थुष॑श्च॥
citraṃ devānām ud agād anīkaṃ cakṣur mitrasya varuṇasyāgneḥ |
āprā dyāvāpṛthivī antarikṣaṃ sūrya ātmā jagatas tasthuṣaś ca ||
Взошел яркий лик богов,
Глаз Митры, Варуны, Агни.
Он заполнил собой небо и землю, воздушное пространство.
Сурья – дыхание жизни движущегося и неподвижного (мира).
Prangend ist das Antlitz der Götter aufgegangen, das Auge von Mitra, Varuna, Agni. Er hat Himmel und Erde und die Luft erfüllt; Surya ist die Seele von allem was geht und steht.
THE brilliant presence of the Gods hath risen, the eye of Mitra, Varuna and Agni. The soul of all that moveth not or moveth, the Sun hath filled the air and earth and heaven.
rv01.115.02
सूर्यो॑ दे॒वीमु॒षसं॒ रोच॑मानां॒ मर्यो॒ न योषा॑म॒भ्ये॑ति प॒श्चात्। यत्रा॒ नरो॑ देव॒यन्तो॑ यु॒गानि॑ वितन्व॒ते प्रति॑ भ॒द्राय॑ भ॒द्रम्॥
sūryo devīm uṣasaṃ rocamānām maryo na yoṣām abhy eti paścāt |
yatrā naro devayanto yugāni vitanvate prati bhadrāya bhadram ||
Сурья наступает сзади на сверкающую
Богиню Ушас, как юноша на женщину,
В то время как мужи, преданные богам,
Натягивают на себя ярмо, благодатное для благодатного.
Surya geht hinter der leuchtenden Göttin Usas her wie der Jüngling hinter einer Maid, während die gottergebenen Männer die Joche aufstecken, je ein glückbringendes zu glücklichem Tun.
Like as a young man followeth a maiden, so doth the Sun the Dawn, refulgent Goddess: Where pious men extend their generations, before the Auspicious One for happy fortune.

भ॒द्रा अश्वा॑ ह॒रितः॒ सूर्य॑स्य चि॒त्रा एत॑ग्वा अनु॒माद्या॑सः। न॒म॒स्यन्तो॑ दि॒व आ पृ॒ष्ठम॑स्थुः॒ परि॒ द्यावा॑पृथि॒वी य॑न्ति स॒द्यः॥
bhadrā aśvā haritaḥ sūryasya citrā etagvā anumādyāsaḥ |
namasyanto diva ā pṛṣṭham asthuḥ pari dyāvāpṛthivī yanti sadyaḥ ||
Благодатные рыжие кобылицы Сурьи,
Яркие, пестрые, вызывающие восторг,
Достойные поклонения, поднялись на спину неба.
В один день они объезжают небо и землю.
Die glückbringenden falben Stuten des Surya, die prangenden Etagva´s haben von Jubel begrüßt, sich beugend den Rücken des Himmels erstiegen. In einem Tag umwandeln sie Himmel und Erde.
Auspicious are the Sun's Bay-coloured Horses, bright, changing hues, meet for our shouts of triumph. Bearing our prayers, die sky's ridge have they mounted, and in a moment speed round earth and heaven.
rv01.115.04
तत्सूर्य॑स्य देव॒त्वं तन्म॑हि॒त्वं म॒ध्या कर्तो॒र्वित॑तं॒ सं ज॑भार। य॒देदयु॑क्त ह॒रितः॑ स॒धस्था॒दाद्रात्री॒ वास॑स्तनुते सि॒मस्मै॑॥
tat sūryasya devatvaṃ tan mahitvam madhyā kartor vitataṃ saṃ jabhāra |
yaded ayukta haritaḥ sadhasthād ād rātrī vāsas tanute simasmai ||
Такова божественная природа Сурьи, таково величие:
Посреди работы он собирает натянутую (ткань).
Как только он запряг с места рыжих (коней),
Ночь тут же протягивает (свой) наряд для него самого.
Das ist die Göttlichkeit, das die Macht des Surya: Mitten in der Arbeit hat er ihr ausgespanntes Gewebe zusammengelegt. Sobald er die Falbinnen von ihrem Platze geschirrt hat, spannt die Nacht für ihn selbst ihr Gewand aus.
This is the Godhead, this might of Surya: he hath withdrawn what spread o'er work unfinished. When he hath loosed his Horses from their station, straight over all Night spreadeth out her garment.
rv01.115.05
तन्मि॒त्रस्य॒ वरु॑णस्याभि॒चक्षे॒ सूर्यो॑ रू॒पं कृ॑णुते॒ द्योरु॒पस्थे॑। अ॒न॒न्तम॒न्यद्रुश॑दस्य॒ पाजः॑ कृ॒ष्णम॒न्यद्ध॒रितः॒ सं भ॑रन्ति॥
tan mitrasya varuṇasyābhicakṣe sūryo rūpaṃ kṛṇute dyor upasthe |
anantam anyad ruśad asya pājaḥ kṛṣṇam anyad dharitaḥ sam bharanti ||
Сурья принимает этот цвет Митры (и) Варуны,
Чтобы быть видимым в лоне неба.
Бесконечно светла одна его сторона,
Другую, черную, собирают (его) кобылицы.
Diese Farbe des Mitra, des Varuna lässt Surya im Schoße des Himmels schauen. Endlos weiß ist seine eine Erscheinung; die andere, schwarze legen die falben Stuten zusammen.
In the sky's lap the Sun this form assumeth that Varuna and Mitra may behold it. His Bay Steeds well maintain his power eternal, at one time bright and darksome at another.
rv01.115.06
अ॒द्या दे॑वा॒ उदि॑ता॒ सूर्य॑स्य॒ निरंह॑सः पिपृ॒ता निर॑व॒द्यात्। तन्नो॑ मि॒त्रो वरु॑णो मामहन्ता॒मदि॑तिः॒ सिन्धुः॑ पृथि॒वी उ॒त द्यौः॥
adyā devā uditā sūryasya nir aṃhasaḥ pipṛtā nir avadyāt |
tan no mitro varuṇo māmahantām aditiḥ sindhuḥ pṛthivī uta dyauḥ ||
Сегодня, о боги, на восходе солнца,
Переправьте нас через узость, через бесчестье!
Пусть нам это щедро даруют Митра, Варуна,
Адити, Синдху, Земля и Небо!
Ihr Götter, helfet uns heute bei Aufgang der Sonne von Ungemach und Tadel! Das sollen uns Mitra, Varuna gewähren, Aditi, Sindhu, Erde und Himmel!
This day, O Gods, while Surya is ascending, deliver us from trouble and dishonour. This prayer of ours may Varuna grant, and Mitra, and Aditi and Sindhu, Earth and Heaven.
