इन्द्र॒ पिब॑ प्रतिका॒मं सु॒तस्य॑ प्रातःसा॒वस्तव॒ हि पू॒र्वपी॑तिः। हर्ष॑स्व॒ हन्त॑वे शूर॒ शत्रू॑नु॒क्थेभि॑ष्टे वी॒र्या॒३॒॑ प्र ब्र॑वाम॥

indra piba pratikāmaṃ sutasya prātaḥsāvas tava hi pūrvapītiḥ |
harṣasva hantave śūra śatrūn ukthebhiṣ ṭe vīryā pra bravāma ||

О Индра, пей выжатый сок, сколько захочешь:
Ведь утреннее выжимание – твое первое питье.
Возбуждайся, о герой, для убийства врагов!
В песнях мы хотим провозгласить твои подвиги.

Indra, trinke nach Lust vom Soma; denn dein ist die Morgenpressung, der Ersttrunk. Freue dich darauf die Feinde zu erschlagen, o Held! In Liedern wollen wir deine Heldentaten verkünden.

DRINK of the juice, O Indra, at thy plea. sure, for thy first draught is early morn's libation. Rejoice, that thou mayst slay our foes, O Hero, and we with lauds will tell thy mighty exploits.

rv10.112.02

यस्ते॒ रथो॒ मन॑सो॒ जवी॑या॒नेन्द्र॒ तेन॑ सोम॒पेया॑य याहि। तूय॒मा ते॒ हर॑यः॒ प्र द्र॑वन्तु॒ येभि॒र्यासि॒ वृष॑भि॒र्मन्द॑मानः॥

yas te ratho manaso javīyān endra tena somapeyāya yāhi |
tūyam ā te harayaḥ pra dravantu yebhir yāsi vṛṣabhir mandamānaḥ ||

Твоя колесница. Что быстрее мысли,
Приезжай на ней для питья сомы!
Пусть быстро мчатся сюда твои буланые кони.
Жеребцы, на которых ты ездишь, опьяняясь!

Dein Wagen, schneller als der Gedanke, auf dem komm, Indra, zum Somatrunk! Deine Falben sollen rasch herlaufen, die Hengste, mit denen du berauscht fährst.

Thou hast a car more swift than thought, O Indra; thercon come hither, come to drink the Soma. Let thy Bay Steeds, thy Stallions, hasten hither, with whom thou cornest nigh and art delighted.

rv10.112.03

हरि॑त्वता॒ वर्च॑सा॒ सूर्य॑स्य॒ श्रेष्ठै॑ रू॒पैस्त॒न्वं॑ स्पर्शयस्व। अ॒स्माभि॑रिन्द्र॒ सखि॑भिर्हुवा॒नः स॑ध्रीची॒नो मा॑दयस्वा नि॒षद्य॑॥

haritvatā varcasā sūryasya śreṣṭhai rūpais tanvaṃ sparśayasva |
asmābhir indra sakhibhir huvānaḥ sadhrīcīno mādayasvā niṣadya ||

Подставь (свое) тело золотисто-желтому
Блеску солнца, лучшим краскам!
Призываемый нами, о Индра, (твоими) друзьями,
Опьяняйся (с нами) вместе, усевшись!

Laß deinen Leib vom goldigen Glanze der Sonne, von den schönsten Farben berührt werden! Von uns Freunden angerufen, Indra, berausche dich mit uns gemeinsam, dich hinsetzend!

Deck out thy body with the fairest colours, with golden splendour of the Sun adorn it. O Indra, turn thee hitherward invited by us thy friends; be seated and be joyful.

rv10.112.04

यस्य॒ त्यत्ते॑ महि॒मानं॒ मदे॑ष्वि॒मे म॒ही रोद॑सी॒ नावि॑विक्ताम्। तदोक॒ आ हरि॑भिरिन्द्र यु॒क्तैः प्रि॒येभि॑र्याहि प्रि॒यमन्न॒मच्छ॑॥

yasya tyat te mahimānam madeṣv ime mahī rodasī nāviviktām |
tad oka ā haribhir indra yuktaiḥ priyebhir yāhi priyam annam accha ||

Ты, чье величие во время твоих опьянений
Не могли вместить эти две великих половины вселенной,
Приезжай в это поселение, о Индра, на запряженных буланых конях,
На любимых – к любимому кушанью!

Du, dessen Größe dann in deinem Rausche diese beiden großen Welthälften nicht faßten, komme zu diesem Heim, Indra, mit den angeschirrten Falben, den lieben zu der lieben Speise!

O thou whose grandeur in thy festive transports not even these two great worlds have comprehended. Come, Indra, with thy dear Bay Horses harnessed, come to our dwelling and the food thou lovest.

rv10.112.05

यस्य॒ शश्व॑त्पपि॒वाँ इ॑न्द्र॒ शत्रू॑ननानुकृ॒त्या रण्या॑ च॒कर्थ॑। स ते॒ पुरं॑धिं॒ तवि॑षीमियर्ति॒ स ते॒ मदा॑य सु॒त इ॑न्द्र॒ सोमः॑॥

yasya śaśvat papivāṃ indra śatrūn anānukṛtyā raṇyā cakartha |
sa te purandhiṃ taviṣīm iyarti sa te madāya suta indra somaḥ ||

Тот, кого испив, о Индра, ты снова и снова (убивал) врагов
(И) совершал неповторимые радостные (деяния),
Он приводит в движение твою щедрость (и) силу.
Этот сома выжат для твоего опьянения, о Индра.

Nach dessen Trunke du, Indra, immer wieder die Feinde erschlugest und unnachahmliche, erfreuliche Taten vollbracht hast, der regt deine Freigebigkeit und Kraft an, dieser Soma ist dir zum Rausche gepreßt, Indra.

Pressed for thy joyous banquet is the Soma, Soma whereof thou, Indra, ever drinking, Hast waged unequalled battles with thy foemen, which prompts the mighty flow of thine abundance.

rv10.112.06

इ॒दं ते॒ पात्रं॒ सन॑वित्तमिन्द्र॒ पिबा॒ सोम॑मे॒ना श॑तक्रतो। पू॒र्ण आ॑हा॒वो म॑दि॒रस्य॒ मध्वो॒ यं विश्व॒ इद॑भि॒हर्य॑न्ति दे॒वाः॥

idaṃ te pātraṃ sanavittam indra pibā somam enā śatakrato |
pūrṇa āhāvo madirasya madhvo yaṃ viśva id abhiharyanti devāḥ ||

Этот твой кубок, о Индра, существует издревле.
Пей сому из него, о стоумный!
Полон чан пьянящего меду,
Которому радуются все боги.

Diese Schale ist seit alters dein Besitz, Indra; trink den Soma daraus, du Ratreicher! Der Trog ist voll des berauschenden Süßtranks, auf den sich alle Götter freuen.

Found from of old is this thy cup, O Indra: Satakratu, drink therefrom the Soma. Filled is the beaker with the meath that gladdens, the beaker which all Deities delight in.

rv10.112.07

वि हि त्वामि॑न्द्र पुरु॒धा जना॑सो हि॒तप्र॑यसो वृषभ॒ ह्वय॑न्ते। अ॒स्माकं॑ ते॒ मधु॑मत्तमानी॒मा भु॑व॒न्सव॑ना॒ तेषु॑ हर्य॥

vi hi tvām indra purudhā janāso hitaprayaso vṛṣabha hvayante |
asmākaṃ te madhumattamānīmā bhuvan savanā teṣu harya ||

Ведь тебя, о Индра, много раз призывают
Люди, выставившие жертвенную усладу, о бык.
Наши выжимания пусть будут
Самыми сладкими для тебя! Радуйся им!

Denn dich rufen die Leute vielfach, Indra, bei vorgesetztem Schmause, o Bulle. Unsere Trankopfer hier sollen dir die süßesten sein; an diesen erfreue dich!

From many a side with proffered entertainment the folk are calling thee, O Mighty Indra. These our libations shall for thee be richest in sweet meath: dvink thereof and find them pleasant.

rv10.112.08

प्र त॑ इन्द्र पू॒र्व्याणि॒ प्र नू॒नं वी॒र्या॑ वोचं प्रथ॒मा कृ॒तानि॑। स॒ती॒नम॑न्युरश्रथायो॒ अद्रिं॑ सुवेद॒नाम॑कृणो॒र्ब्रह्म॑णे॒ गाम्॥

pra ta indra pūrvyāṇi pra nūnaṃ vīryā vocam prathamā kṛtāni |
satīnamanyur aśrathāyo adriṃ suvedanām akṛṇor brahmaṇe gām ||

Я хочу провозгласить, о Индра, твои прежние
Героические деяния, про(возгласить) сейчас (твои) первые (деяния).
Ты, чье рвение истинно, сделал мягкой скалу,
Сделал корову легкодоступной для заклинания.

Ich will deine früheren, ich will jetzt deine erstgetanen Heldentaten verkünden, Indra. Du, dessen Eifer echt ist, machtest den Felsen mürb, du machtest für das zauberkräftige Wort die Kuh leicht zu bekommen.

I will declare thy deeds of old, O Indra, the mighty acts which thou hast first accomplished. In genuine wrath thou loosenedst the mountain so that the Brahman easily found the cattle.

rv10.112.09

नि षु सी॑द गणपते ग॒णेषु॒ त्वामा॑हु॒र्विप्र॑तमं कवी॒नाम्। न ऋ॒ते त्वत्क्रि॑यते॒ किं च॒नारे म॒हाम॒र्कं म॑घवञ्चि॒त्रम॑र्च॥

ni ṣu sīda gaṇapate gaṇeṣu tvām āhur vipratamaṃ kavīnām |
na ṛte tvat kriyate kiṃ canāre mahām arkam maghavañ citram arca ||

Усаживайся хорошенько, о повелитель толпы, среди толп (певцов)!
Тебя называют самым вдохновенным из поэтов.
Ничего не делается без тебя и вдалеке (от тебя).
Запевай, о щедрый, великую яркую песню!

Setz dich fein nieder, du Herr der Schar, unter den Sängerscharen; dich nennen sie ja den Redekundigsten unter den Sehern! Ohne dich und fern von dir geschieht nichts. Stimme den hohen, wunderbaren Gesang an, du Gabenreicher!

Lord of the hosts, amid our bands be seated: they call thee greatest Sage among the sages. Nothing is done, even far away, without thee: great, wondrous, Maghavan, is the hymn I sing thee.

rv10.112.10

अ॒भि॒ख्या नो॑ मघव॒न्नाध॑माना॒न्सखे॑ बो॒धि व॑सुपते॒ सखी॑नाम्। रणं॑ कृधि रणकृत्सत्यशु॒ष्माभ॑क्ते चि॒दा भ॑जा रा॒ये अ॒स्मान्॥

abhikhyā no maghavan nādhamānān sakhe bodhi vasupate sakhīnām |
raṇaṃ kṛdhi raṇakṛt satyaśuṣmābhakte cid ā bhajā rāye asmān ||

Со взором, обращенным к нам, молящим о помощи, о щедрый,
О повелитель благ, будь другом для друзей!
Создай радость битвы, о создающий радость битвы, о тот, чье неистовство истинно!
Выдели нам (долю) в еще не деленном богатстве!

Auf uns, die Schutzsuchenden, blickend, o Gabenreicher, gedenke, o Freund, deiner Freunde, du Schätzeherr! Bereite ein Kampffest, du Kampfbereiter von echtem Eifer; gib uns einen Anteil auch an dem noch unverteilten Reichtum!

Aim of our eyes be thou, for we implore thee, O Maghavan, Friend of friends and Lord of treasures. Fight, Warrior strong in truth, fight thou the battle: give us our share of undivided riches.
