Triangulation: three frameworks converge (§7)

The study was originally drafted as four parallel framework papers. Per DOUBTS D4 — four papers from one dataset risks salami-slicing — they were consolidated into one paper: the grounded reading is the body, and the three external frameworks become condensed appendices. This page is the hinge: §7, where the external frameworks act as witnesses rather than rival publications.

Three findings every framework reaches

  1. Kernel-plus-enrichment. Wiegand's modal-6-block microstructure, Atkins-Rundell's retrieval-dictionary economy, Hausmann's form-comment economy, and the grounded block economy are one fact in four terminologies.
  2. The <ls>L.</ls> hedge is MW's signature. A Wiegandian transverse indicator, an A&R register marker, a Hausmann Provenienz-Komment (a proposed fifth class), and the grounded hedge construct — all agree it is specific to MW and a deliberate compression of PWG's named-kosha system.
  3. Continuation entries (<e>1A) are distinctive. Adjacency-integration (Wiegand), adjacency-sub-entries (A&R), semantic-only signatures (Hausmann), kernel-reduced profiles (grounded).

What each framework adds that the others miss

That three independently-motivated frameworks converge on the same three facts is the methodological reason this is one paper, not four.
